A lot of people who were naturally blond as children will end up with darker hair as they get older. The body produces less pheomelanin pigment (melanin), which makes blond or red hair, and more eumelanin pigment, which makes dark brown to black hair. And of course little to no pigment is what makes gray or white hair.

I wish there was other. My hair is reddish brown. I don't know what that be under the browns.

Actually I was born; and through most of my life, blonde, but as age creeped up on me (59) I've turned totally platinum grey. JJ

My hair is dark brown but will turn red if in the sun for a long time. Sort of like a hair tan.

I think mine is medium brown...it's probably got a lot of gray in it too if I didn't keep the bottle on it!!! Only my hairdresser know!!! LOL

Black as heck! I bleach it because I look WAY better blonde, but it's kinda nice having black hair, when my roots grow out they give my hair a lot of visual volume(I keep it shaggy styled, not parted).

My hair has been all over the color spectrum: born with dark brown/almost black hair, lightened gradually to medium brown, was red for a short while (my parents were very confused!), then was white blond from the age of about 5. It's gotten gradually darker since I was 13 and now it's stuck right between blond and brown.

Mine's a mixture. Some is blonde, some is brown, some is red. It's confused.

Dark brown with blond highlights. I dye my hair though. I like having natural looking red highlights instead, but I dye my hair to a similar color as my natural color. Which reminds me that I should do a touch-up soon.

Man, I miss having purple hair.

I was blonde as a child then it turned to a dark blonde almost brown. I dye it blonde now.
