Offensive Sex Words

Contributor: Tori Rebel Tori Rebel
I'm willing to bet this topic has been broached before, but I couldn't find it and I'm curious. It seems that everyone I come across has one or two sex words that they either find offensive or that just really turns them off. I've met a lot of women who simply cannot stand the word 'cunt'. I personally don't mind it but I think 'snatch' sounds absolutely horrible. What are yours, whether they're words for body parts or for the acts themselves?

I agree, i don't like cunt. Then again it's always been said in a derogatory way towards me.

And maybe I'm just prude, but I actually don't like the word penis and prefer to say cock or dick. I really don't know why, haha.

There are lots of words that I don't like, but I can't think of anything that offends me.

Penis during a sexual situation just sounds so funny and weird.

I don't mind any of the medical or otherwise adult words for penises...what I don't like is the kiddie-type words - weiner, etc. LOL

Hahaha, I know right? I've heard a few guys use the kiddie terms and i couldn't help but giggle and they just kinda rolled their eyes at me.

My wife absolutely hates it if I say pussy when referring to her vagina. Definite mood killer. So I call it Brat, this is also my pet name for her. Go figure. She calls my member wienie and yes that is her pet mane for me.

OK I will be the first to say we are strange sometimes, but why be normal?

There are a few things that would turn me off that have never been said to me, so I would prefer to not mention them. They would not only turn me off, they would make me angry and I'd probably throw the person out of my house.

Now, some random words that I do not like? Fuck. I do not like it when a person begs me to "fuck" them. I enjoy saying it, but do not enjoy having it said to me. It's actually irritating.

I also do not like the words "dick" and "cock" much. I use them, yes, but I do not like them when used. I prefer ambiguous terms, since I know what they mean anyway. Penis and erection are alright. But just saying "you" to refer to my penis is much, much better.

Nothing really offends me as far as sexual terminology, but I'm not too keen on being referred to as fat. While truthful, it's not very sexy and can take me out of a sexual headspace.

When it comes to the sex-making, I prefer to keep it monosyllabic and moany.

I have never been offended by words. Then again, my hubby and I play name-games all the time. We like to tease and make each other laugh. I think any word or phrase, sexual or not, is a turn off just because it's insulting.

I prefer to use medical terms rather than sexual slang it just doesn't sound right to me. Although I do like the terms used In tantric sex like lingham and yoni, which means penis and vagina.

I hate "pretend it's not there words" like "Va-Jay-Jay" and "Pee Pee Wee wee" (for penis.) I'm not fond of "snatch" but it doesn't offend me.

I used be "offended" by "cunt" and things like that, but I went through a transformation and resolved to be less offended by minor things. When I started using "cunt" during sex, My Man got so excited, there was no way I could continue to think there was anything "offensive" about it. Unlike Sir, I LOVE the word "Fuck" and beg to be fucked ALL the time. That turns The Man on Big Time, too.

I LOVE the word Yoni, it's so ancient and expressive and almost holy but I use it more for expression, like when talking to my kids about sex etc.

Cunt I don't really like because I mainly hear it being used derogatively. I also don't really like dick..I don't know why..but I think because my gramdpa's name was Dick. So, I don't really like calling penises by my grandpa's name. Like, my other grandpa was George..and I wouldn't call them that either!!

Snatch I don't like LOL...especially not sexually, it just sounds nasty.

I like using pussy and cock when talking about the parts during sex, but if I'm talking about them in general I use vagina/labia and penis.

I must say I love it when my boyfriend growls "cunt" in my ear. We talk dirty. Not just dirty, but drrrty. Borderline offensive. I'll keep it at that

I'm not particularly offended by any sexual words, but there are some that would be definite turn offs, liiiiike: cunt, snatch, vagina, penis, dick, etc, etc. LOL . I'm a firm supporter of the words pussy and cock.

I don't find too many terms inherently offensive, although some I find silly and a big turn-off just because they seem kind of puerile. "Twat" for example is one of those words. It doesn't offend me, but it kind of reminds me of a middle school locker room and just...yeah, kills the mood for me.

The word "pussy" is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Otherwise, I really don't care. I don't use sex words too often, anyway, during the "sex-making" (new phrase of the week, thanks Sauceman!). I find it makes it much less romantic and less "making love," and more like "fucking," or "screwing."

Just my two cents.

I used to be offended by cunt as well, but after watching The Vagina Monologues, it just makes me smile now

Snatch is probably the only one that comes close to offending me. I try not to let words offend me, and keep that drama for actions.

Until 6 months ago, I had never heard of the word "cunt".

I don't really have a problem with much. I think slut might rub me the wrong way a bit.

So does mine. It really annoys her if I say it, but she hasn't yet ripped my head off for using the word in reviews. Go figure.
