Cats and other small mammals. I haven't had a ferret yet but I would like one.

I love all animals but I wouldn't want a ferret or maybe some of the other small rodents because of the smell. I had a dog but he passed Haven't gotten another yet. I have cats, lizards and rats. To be honest I'd have my own little petting zoo if I could lol.

I love most all animals except snakes and birds. I love birds, but not as a pet! I usually find gerbils and hammies too stinky to be a pet I really love a lot, but I ended up my Hubert and he's a hamster and he's really an amazing little guy! Never even bit a person in his life. If I were going to pick a pet though, I doubt I'd buy hamsters or gerbils or guinea pigs although I've owned all of them at one point. I had hammies as a kid, rabbits, flying squirells, dogs, cats and geckos, poisond dart frogs, etc. I love cats so much that I could not live without mine and I love my old weiner dog pookie. I wouldn't choose to have a dog usually though. For the most part, I'm a big animal person, but there's a limit! When your house starts smellin' it's time to make changes.

I've just recently got my daughter a small dog who for some odd reason claimed me as him and not my daughter. She was pissed, hopefully the next one that she chooses will take to her.

I love dogs, but allergy's keep me from owning any. I also love lizards, especially Iguanas. I owned one a few years ago that got to be almost 5ft long.

I'd say it is, either that, or a hamster, they are both good animals, and when raised right, can be very loving.

We're the only ones who love rats! People don't know what they're missing. Rats are such loving creatures. They'll accept you as one of their own family. Socrates was such a cute little baby when he was alive. He was the size of an adult feeder mouse and he was so sleepy all the time. He'd just lay in my lap and sleep, sleep, sleep. He got REALLY big but he was still cute (except for his big rat balls - lol). I loved when he licked my hand and all that. He was like a tiny cat.

I grew up with dogs and ferrets, my man with just dogs. We're looking into getting a pet soon, and are probably sticking with what we know, but that doesn't mean I don't love them all!
