Poll: Android or IPhone

Contributor: Gone (LD29) Gone (LD29)
Neither. I don't have a smart phone, and I don't plan on getting one anytime soon. I have a basic phone that can make phone calls and send texts. I don't need anything else.

i had an iphone for the last 2 years and was a total Apple fan.
...then i got an Android phone and haven't looked back since.

For a tech head who likes to fiddle and customize settings this is the OS to go with.

Feel like i have broken free of the chains haha

If I wasn't already a bit iffy about Apple products, them making it so that the new tablet I was interested in (Nexus) can't be sold in the US even though it was WAY better than anything they've come up with and WAY cheaper, means that I will never, ever, EVER buy anything of theirs AGAIN. I refuse to support them now.

So Android, ALL the way.

IPhone is good because it simply works.

Android is good because of the vast level of customization and variety inherent with the open source nature of the OS.

Both are good choices, but it really comes down to how involved you want to be with the operation of your phone. Android works stock, but has limitless options for enhancement. IPhone works will, but is not going to be integrating current tech nearly as quickly.

Android. Have an Inspire 4G and I love being able to use different ROMs. iPhones don't have enough functionality for me.
