Which do you like better and why?

I've really gotta go with salsa. Its much more versatile imo. Tomato salsa, mango salsa, etc.. To me, guacamole implies avacado and not much else. (Say, where's the hummus option? )

I love both. Tuesday's our Taco and Burrito night, so there's always fresh Pico de Gallo and Guacamole on the table!

I like salsa always. Sometimes I crave guacamole though. Also, cheese dips are great.

I went without liking guac for the longest time, and after a vacation in Palm Springs, I've totally turned around on it. It's one of my favorite treats to make at home. I'm a fan of making it with fresh garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, lemon juice and peel, somtimes a little onion, and a good, ripe avacado. The garlic and cilantro do it for me.

I prefer Guacamole. I'm not fond of salsa. My Man makes SO much of it and he makes it so HOT that even though I taught him how to make it originally, he's ruined it for me. I don't like hot food.
I like my Guac smooth and with very little in it except a tiny amount of onion and some lemon. I don't like a ton of garlic in it, nor do I like HUMONGOUS chunks of onion that make you gag, and forget the hot peppers. Guac is supposed to be a cooling food. It shouldn't have hot things in it.

Fresh guacamole is great and if we were just going for the general stereotype forms of each it would win easy. But there's so much salsa in the world! Habenero salsas are zingy and flavorful, and mango salsas are sweet and fruity and full of lime and good things for you, and habenero mango salsa is about my favorite thing in the world ever! So tie game.
Guacamole is yummier at minimum quality (min. quality salsa is lame), but salsa at its best is waaay better than guacamole at it's best.

I like salsa (can't stand guac). I can't say specifically what I like in my salsa because I've never made it myself nor paid attention to what goes into it. There's a local salsa company, I think they're straight up called Arizona Salsa Company lol, that makes my favorite, which'd be their mild.

I learned how to make Mexican salsa from my mother-in-law, who lives in Mexico, and I love it! I also learned how to make guacamole from the region where she lives as well, and you just can't beat fresh salsa and guacamole with home made, authentic Mexican food...my mouth is watering!

Although salsa is tasty, I usually mix it with other stuff like cheese dip or guac.
I usually just mix avocado (sliced) with salsa of some sort and a pinch of salt.

Love both, but salsa is the winner here. We use salsa on so many foods, even on grits. Of course it's homemade and no store bought salsa or guacamole for me! My wife makes some of the best I have ever had.
