i could do it- and i have, but i used to smoke so it would make it hard for me to be around that.

I'd prefer that they not...but I grew up with my parents smoking (cigarettes) so it doesn't bother me that much (though not at all sure about kissing!). I do like the smell of cigars every once in awhile.

I don't smoke and the smoke would probably bother me.

Smoker here, only tobacco (not store-bought poisons) and mullein, and oregano once in a blue Moon... ^^

Oh and sure, my PreciousMaster smokes just like I do, sacred mist of the gods... ^^

I so miss smoking. I quit October of last year. I smoked for two years before that and it was like a pack a day. I quit because of my medical issues but I still miss it. I couldn't be with a partner/boyfriend that smokes because I would go back to smoking. And I quit for so long now.. what is the point of going back? Even though I REALLY WANT TO. Lol.

I used to smoke cigarettes, and one of the things I hated most was that I ALWAYS smelled like cig smoke. I love scents (perfume, shampoo, lotion, etc), and I hated that the pleasant aromas were detracted from or completely masked by the smoke smell.
That being said, I don't think I could ever date someone who smokes regularly. My partner smokes a cigar every few weeks/months, just because he can, but that's tolerable.

I ruins it for me.

If I see a cute guy and he lights up, it ruins it.

I'm a moderate smoker so I can tolerate smokers. It takes me a week or so to finish a pack. The most in a stressful day is five, but some days I don't smoke at all.

Since I smoke so little I don't usually smell or taste like smoke.

My problem isn't so much smoking, but inconsiderate smokers.

I ask before lighting up in a lot of places, I won't smoke around children or pregnant women. If I'm outside I move myself and/or my cigarette away from people walking by and hold the smoke until they pass. If I have non-smokers in my car I often won't smoke out of respect for others.

I bet most people wouldn't have too many problems if people were more responsible and respectful about it.

I smoke, so smoking is a non-issue for me. My husband is an occasional smoker.

No smokers for me. My 1st wife started smoking and quickly became my ex-wife.

I do both right now, so I couldn't really judge. I think at a certain age I will change my mind about this though.

I hate smoking and am not a smoker myself. However, I have dated people who smoke all of the above. My rule now though is i won't date anyone who does any drugs at all. Cigs are gross and i prefer to date someone who is not a smoker but I wouldnt let smoking be a deal killer if they had other qualities I wanted in someone.

I'm a-ok with my partner smoking. I personally don't smoke, but I have nothing against it.

I might not mind a little weed, but cigarette smoke grosses me out. I would never date someone who smoked...don't mean to offend anyone, that's just how I feel personally.

No. I'm an ex-smoker so I dont want it back in my life. If I like them enough, though, I'll introduce them to vaping (e-cigs), and if they take to it they could date me as long as they stick to it or quit completely.

My current partner smoked for only two years before we started dating, but quit before we got together. I wouldn't have been with him if he smoked still.

I've never smoked and never will. My mother smoked and it put me off for life, I can't stand the smell or anything.

Never ever I'd date somebody who smoke. I find the act of smoking very sexy, especially with a kiseru and even like the smell of warm smoke, but it causes me too much health problems. Hell, I'm renting a smoke-free flat, but my neighbours didn't have that clause on their lease, so they smoke all the time, inside and outside. I can't open the windows in summer because it'll reek of tobacco to the point I'll choke and feel like they're putting out their cigarettes in my eyes. Last summer it was 40 degrees celcius in my flat because they'd smoke-chain for hours and I couldn't have clean air. Since I live here I've had twice as much as sinusitis and bronchitis as when I'd live with my non-smoker parents. It's enourmous. My clothes have to be rewashed several times because their smoke will crawl up the dryer. I can't even start the bathroom fan for too long because it'll reek as much as if I would have smoked there. When I see those disrepectful beings, who even smoke in common areas, I just wish smoking would kill in a few hours instead of a few years. They have children. They're living in a common place. Selfish cunts.

I don't even see how you can get addicted to cigarettes. Nicotine is so much of a joke. And yes I tried for myself (with gum, my respiratory tree being so weak) and there was nothing hard about stopping. At all. But maybe that's because my medical condition makes me an heavy opiate user, and I suffer withdrawal every now and then because I don't take my pills when I can rest. Anyway. Enough of a rent. Never ever I'd date someone who smokes.

I always said I'd never date a smoker, but when love came around, he just so happened to be one. I accepted it, because I want him to accept me as I am, but he has decided to quit (thankfully) and has gone 4 days smoke free.
