Our sunsets are beautiful. We live on a big hill/mountain and the sky turns all pink and purple and it covers the sky. Havnt seen many good sunrises considering there are mountains to the east of us, but they seem pretty normal. idk.

Neither of us are morning people, so definitely sundown. With 2 kids sunrises are invariably simply getting everyone out the door for the day.

Sunset, I am not a morning person. When I used to work over nights I got to see the sunrise, but it wasn't always a welcome site. For those that work nights, if you can get home before the sun's up, you do, the sun light starts a chemical reaction in your body and you start to wake up.

Sunsets are more romantic. Honestly I don't know if I've ever stayed up long enough or woken up early enough to see a sunrise. If I have then I obviously wasn't paying enough attention!

I wish I could say "sunrise" because I LOVE watching the sun rise. When I've seen them before, it's been a peaceful, positive experience and I've always gotten the feeling like I made the most of the day. The truth is, though, that I watch more sunsets than sunrises because I don't ever wake before 7. I mean, never. (unless I have more than one alarm at different places within the room to wake me up)

One of my favorite memories ever was watching a sunrise with some friends, but we'd stayed up all night. It was a fantastic night.

Sunrise is definitely underrated.

I voted sunset because it's warm and beautiful and I think most people would find that very romantic.
But the sunrise is amazing

I go with sunrise because it is generally more intimate. Not many people up, a quiet stillness, and the promise of they day yet to come. Beautiful. Hopeful.

This is very true. Personally, I prefer sunset because it's easier to do, but sunrise does win for intimacy.

Yeah, but sometimes the day yet to come could also be a bad one. Best to have the day behind you and rest with your loved one. Besides, at sunset, you can stay and stargaze, too!

i was goind to say sunset...knee-jerk reaction. but, sunsets never really did anything for me. sunrise, on the other hand, means you just spent the entire night together...perhaps up talking until the sun came up. i do remember the few times that has happened, and it was far more special than any sunset.

by the way, sunsets on the west coast of michigan...not too shabby! and still i chose sunrise.

have you ever seen the movie, "before sunrise?"
