When I was a teenager, I don't know why but my bf called me Tex. I'm a girl and a girly girl but I loved when he called me that masculine name. (still no idea where it came from).

Maybe it's not the name so much as who it is calling you it - terms of affection are so sweet!

My favorite was always Beautiful.
I had a best friend in high school that called her boy friend "Honey Bunny Boo Boo Bear" for two years straight. He claimed to have loved it too. Lol.

'Scully' ... of course he was called 'Mulder' in return. (Yeah, the same guy.)

My ex-husband called me 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' (in reference to BBC's 'Rumpole of the Bailey', which in turn was influenced by H. Rider Haggard's 'She'). He did it jokingly, but I hated being equated with Mrs. Rumpole.

I think my husband won me over the first time he called me that. It was when we had just started dating, well I guess we weren't even officially dating, but he started calling me My'Lady and I loved it Now he just calls me baby.

I'm had quite a few from boyfriends Patches, JJJ, Tiger, Lola, Babers are only a few. But, none were as awesome as my favorite-Flash. I've had some I hated too lol.

Flash has a really cool meaning behind it (it did to me anyways). The guy who gave it to me applied it to a lot of things in our relationship. Some sound dumb now but I loved it and he still calls me this.

He first called me Flash because he said I always looked pretty at work but it literally took me a flash to change and look gorgeous after work. He wished that I wasn't such a speeder worker, so that I'd slow down and he could chat with me or just look at me. Then he started dating me and he would say that in a flash I blindsided him and came into his life...and when we broke up, in a flash I was gone. Everything in our relationship was fast and exciting and so the name took suit.

Oh man, my boyfriend is such a weirdo. He started calling me Smelly randomly when we first started dating (he says it's because I DON'T smell, but it is awkward to explain to people when he lets it slip, lol)

Other nicknames I have randomly gotten from him are Sweeney, Hum-lee, (his version of Chumlee from Pawn Stars) Pretty Toes, Pretty Girl, and Dork-Ass because my last name is somewhat similar. Love that one! And of course regular ones like Hunny, Baby, etc.

Yeah, did I mention my man is a lil weird?

Sunshine. I love it when he calls me at work to say "good morning Sunshine".

Regularly its babe or baby for eachother.

Early in our dating, he use to call me Polly, said I reminded him of Underdog's Polly Purebread. LOL

Synthetik has quite a few pet names for me, here's the main ones (I like all of them ):

"(My) Love"
"Beautiful"
"(My) Angel"
"Baby"

I don't have as many "pet names" for him (it's hard for me to find ones that are semi masculine, lol:

"Honey"
"(My) Nightmare"
"(My) Squishy" (or Squishyful)

I couldn't think of any pet names for him other than the first two, so he actually suggested the "Squishy" one . A less common one for him is "Mein Mann" which means "My Husband" in German (granted we, unfortunately, aren't married yet in a legal sense, but consider myself married to him in my mind and heart.)

ex husband used to call me little-nipple-tittays. said it was my "indian" name. i hated it, but that wasn't the question. lol

My husband usually just calls me babe, but on occasion during the colder months I get "chihuahua" because I shiver like one. I don't know whether to think it's cute or be insulted lol.
