Whisky, straight or on ice is a preference.
Rum if it's not toooo sweet. And same for whisky, honestly. Though sweetness has only been a problem in embarrassingly cheap bottles. I had a friend try and get me to drink some honey crap and it was sickly and disgusting.
The addition of coke is alright but I mostly just prefer a short glass of something strong.
I'm the sort that prefers to just nurse on a few drinks over the course of a night. My aim is usually to enjoy the drink and achieve and maintain a healthy buzz. I don't enjoy being drunk, so I dont get drunk. That's about all there is lol.
Edit: oh, but I am a sucker for a good craft beer from time to time cheers

Beer and wine. Liquor leaves me with a headache the next morning. That's not to say there aren't times momma and I tie one on, but more often than not it's wine.

Voted both beer and hard liquor cause it depends on the context. At home or with friends it's usually beer. I prefer cold shots of vodka or tequila if I'm out to a festival, event or party.

Beer is my alcohol of choice. Preferably local, usually microbrews. I've even started doing some homebrewing, which is a lot of fun.
When not beer bourbon/whiskey/rye is my next choice, but I am pretty happy drinking most things, especially if they are good quality. Definitely a quality over quantity person in the alcohol department.

I'm really not supposed to drink due to a liver condition, so the rare times that I do all I really taste is the alcohol, regardless of what it is. Doesn't really motivate me to try to bend the rules a bit more to figure out if there are any that I really like.

I will admit that I am slightly to young for it to be legal to drink, however I have tried small sips of alcohol as all young people are prone to and I think i have tried just about everything. To me it smells like something rotted and tastes about the same. I would take normal fruit juice over anything alcoholic any day.

I drink select 55, the lightest beer imaginable. I love it. Have drank tons of different types of alcohol as I used to bartend but I only have a nixed drink on extreme occasion.

I'm a single malt scotch kind of guy. When I drink beer, I want it to have beer in it. I like Guinness, Hefewiesens, and dark beers. Needless to say, I don't drink to get drunk. I drink what I like.

I enjoy my hard liquor. I can do shots of whiskey, vodka, whatever, without a problem, but I'm also a fan of the fruity girly drinks. I, of course, often get crap from my friends, but I don't see why. If it tastes good and will get me drunk, it seems like a win-win. Booze shouldn't have to taste harsh or strong to be considered a "manly drink."

Beer. Growing up, I sipped what my family had, stuff available at most grocery stores and gas stations. I never thought I'd like beer later. I am a fan of stouts.

Of those you included in the poll, I would say fruity. However, I really enjoy mixed drinks that are not necessarily fruity (like Kaluha) as well as white wine.

I love wine, whiskey (crown), Tequila and Rum. Those are my favorite Liquors hands down.
I've tried Jager and I like the taste, but only if it's been sitting in a freezer all day. I've also found it tastes DELICIOUS with Calypso watermelon lemonade >8] (idk how widespread that brand is a friend of mine and I tried it randomly, bought from a gas station).
I also like beer, but I like Lagers. Except Chorona. Love Chorona. BudLight Platinum is also good. Other than that I've had a lot of experience with Natty Lite (gag) but that's college beer to the max x_x, Heineken andd a local brand Blue Moon I think? Something like that.

I brew my own beer, so by volume, beer or hard cider are probably my favorite. With different foods, I prefer wine or a mixed drink. I love single malt scotch and think nothing of dropping a good amount of money on a bottle, but usually just a glass before bed.
Even my type of beer changes by the season.
If I only was allowed a single alcoholic beverage for the rest of my life it would probably be some variety of hard cider.

I don't really drink. I think I have an alcohol intolerance or something because it makes me really sick nearly every time (Most recently I mixed some coke & 2/3rd of a shot and it was enough to cause the reaction). But sometimes I still try to drink a bit because I'm trying to figure out if it's certain alcohols that cause it. But even when I drink, I don't have more than 1 or 2 glasses.
