I'm not a big fan of reality shows. My Man likes American Idol, as we're both musicians. But, I have not gotten into it this year. Simon gone and although I LOVE Stephen Tyler, and he knows what he's talking about, I am not getting into it this year. It's the same shit over and over again. There are certain songs they should ban from the play list. My Heart Will Go On, I'm Proud to be an American ANYTHING by Celine Dion....all "Torch Ballads" they are overdone and I'm tired of hearing the same songs over and over again.

I've watched "Sister Wives" and Hoarders on On Demand, (Hoarders makes me feel better about my housekeeping) but My Man hates these shows, so I only watch them during the day when he isn't home.

What about shows on Syfi and Travel channel? Couldn't those be considered "Reality TV"?

I used to love "Ghostie shows." But the newer ones are manufactured, I think.

I can't watch Bizarre Foods. I don't really have a gag reflex, unless people are eating gross things. I can't watch that guy cram disgusting bugs, guts and body parts into his gaping maw.

The ones you listed make me gag but I do enjoy most of the ones of Bravo (and they probably make other people gag). TV viewing, like sex, is different for everyone!

- Keeping Up With The Kardashians

- Bret Michael's reality show that I can't recall the name of
- And that reality show with Perry Ferrel I can't remember the name of...Rock something

Now, I know those are trashy reality shows compared to the competition shows but they are still a bunch of fun to watch when you're in the mood for a little gossip and cat fighting.

Survivor. The episode where a chick had to sit in the dark to get food for her group and filled her ears with candle wax (so she couldn't hear scary sounds) to the extent she herself had to be taken off the island and to the doctor sold me!

I like the auditions for American Idol but that's about all. I do watch Top Model sometimes. Hubby watches those swamp people, ax men and we both watch storage wars mainly because I go to those types of auctions. Gotta say the show really isn't realistic and now there are so many people at the auctions just hoping to find treasure.
