I understand how you feel, @deadpoet. I'm a full-figured woman too and I'm super, intensely insecure over it. But my partner seems to love me anyway.

I'm a straight woman, but I just want to say that there ARE men out there who are open to the idea of, attracted to and turned on by other women. Sadly, it seems like they're few and far between, but trust me, they're there. <3

While it is true that the outside is not important, I cannot deny that I do have a body type which turns me on the most. I love women who are bigger than average or who border on "big". I've been with women who are small and they are wonderful to, but this is just my personal preference.

I prefer a slender girl but both my guys like a full figured woman. I am fuller figured as well but I've never rejected a woman for being large and lovely.

I too am not a barbie, While I am not super large, I do have some meat on my body! my hubby perfers the ladies with some curves. The very skinny girls dont seem to turn him on as much as a thick behind!

It's a good thing my partner likes girls with meat, but I am definitely thick and curvy. We started dating when I was at my skinniest, and I have obviously gained weight since then, and he still loves me. Thankfully I have a keeper. But he has always liked curvier girls. His last partner before me was a big-bootied latina.

I like plus-size bodies for the most part. I voted "other" because I easily can be attracted to slender women as well though I tend to go towards plus-size bodies. I really am equal opportunity though - my only requirement is a good personality.

I find the question to be a little loaded - as most of the people here I can say that I would like a woman to just be herself, regardless of size; I like women with some fire in their bellies - whether they are itty bitty things or lovely curvy ladies makes no real matter to me, just so long as they are proud and tough.
However, to boil it down to pure physical attraction without any other factors I will honestly say that my eyes tend to linger longer on athletic girls more, particularly if they are short and have smaller than average breasts. Being a great big bastard myself, I suppose I tend to covet bodies that are different than mine own.

I'm less interested in what a person looks like and more interested in who they are. That being said, I've been physically attracted to petite women, busty women, full figured women. I consider many different body structures appealing. I'm on the chunky side myself (though I've recently lost ten pounds and frown trying to figure out where it came from; I don't see a difference... ) and I've always been perfectly alright with what I look like but there certainly aren't people lining up for me. Their loss, though

My hubby says the same as the Pastor does, "You are my type." But, it's no secret that he likes a chunkier girl. As I venture into this world of eating healthy and exercise (despite that first few days that TOM comes to visit and all commitments to health go down the drain), I sometimes struggle and worry that I won't be attractive to him. He always reassures me that no matter what size I am (except the anorexic size... no offense to anyone who's struggled), he will be attracted to me.
On my part though, while I am straight, the women I always find most attractive are the wispy, slender girls who are slightly boyish. I'm not a huge fan of big boobs. Those girls who never seem to have to make an effort into their beauty, they just are. But like CheerfulLoner said, it's probably a covetous thing.
For those of you who watched The L Word, girls that are like the character Shay, or even that are more feminine that her, but that body type.
On my part though, while I am straight, the women I always find most attractive are the wispy, slender girls who are slightly boyish. I'm not a huge fan of big boobs. Size isn't something that affects how I love.
It isn't something I use to determine my attraction to a person.
HOWEVER...I could not have a good relationship with someone who was morbidly obese, by this I mean someone who is so obese to the point that they can barely move from their beds, that they cannot perform simple everyday functions.
I could not be with someone who did not love themselves (Or friends/family) enough to respect their health enough to seek help in managing their health.
I could and would love them, but I could not maintain a healthy relationship with them. I could not support someone who was killing themselves.
If they were actively seeking help in managing their health, I would support them, help them, and I might be able to have a relationship with them.
I feel the same way about a person who would destroy their health with drugs and/or alcohol.

I would love my wife no matter what size she was. But at the same time, I would have a problem if she was not taking care of herself. Either over weight from eating wrong and not being active, or under weight from just not eating. This world has everyone thinking that we look at someone with weight issues, and have anything but a positive view; then we are being jerks, assholes, ect.. Well I think that once again this world is wrong. I am not going to love someone less because they have a weight problem. I have many members of my family with weight issues. Some don't care, and continue to have medical problems because of it. Others battle it every day with their diet and activity.
I am sorry, but I have had to watch too many people die with heath issues that they were too young to have. I want to do everything I can to live a long and happy life with my wife and kids. I want to see my grandkids grow up.

That said, while I am more attracted to more slender, androgynous girls on sight, I'm much more attracted to personality and am highly attracted to people who are intelligent, witty, clever, funny, and confident, regardless of body type.
