What weird food do you like?

What things do you like the taste of that most people don't?

Last week I was started on a prescription cough syrup with cherry flavor. I don't know why, but I think it tastes awesome. I love the taste of Peptobismol too. French fries in your Frosty: yup
catchup on potato chips: yup
peanut butter on a hamburger: once, but it was good
Gin: acquired a taste

What about you peoples?

Sour cream on pancakes (you wouldn't believe the amount of weird looks I got whenever I did that at a redneck diner I worked at).

Where do I begin! French dressing on my pizza, Blue cheese works too. I too love the ketchup and potato chips. Dip my french fries in Ketchup and Mayo. I LOVE the taste of liquid amoxicillin (bubble gum medicine as I called it as a child). Could put vinegar on just about anything! I am totally drawing a blank but I know there are a TON more! Mr. Sauce have you tried Herr's ketchup chips? If not they are a must for those of us that love to dip potato chips in ketchup!

Oh, I love french fries in my Frosty! My very first job was at Wendy's and we did that a lot.

I'm also a big fan of pickled or creamed herring. It's the Norwegian in me.

I put ketchup on my scrambled eggs, which seems normal to me, everyone in my family does it. But I'm told by people not in my family that it's very strange.

I've heard of the ketchup flavored chips, but haven't tried them. I'm really not much of a chip person anymore.

Oh, I've been known to drink A-1 steak sauce straight out of the bottle...sooo good.

Tripe? Does anyone think that is unusual? It wasn't too bad...

I too love the taste of peptobismol. I love hot sauce on everything and everything. I love pickles so much I'll just sit down and drink the juice. I love ketchup on my eggs. French fries and Ice Cream are also really good.

I've heard bananas and sour cream are really good together, although I've never tried it before.

I've eaten plenty of things at Asian restaurants that are totally normal for the cuisine in question but may be weird for those who aren't into it. I love chicken feet dim sum, honeycomb tripe, chicken gizzards, and I was surprised just the other day by how delicious mayonnaise is on sushi. For less internationally weird foods, I'm also a fan of french fries in Frosties and vinegar on most savory foods.

Either peanut butter with parmesan cheese (the kind in the green container from the grocery store), or those frozen buffalo wings cut into pieces on a bagel with cream cheese.

My fiance does stuff like that, only he would be drinking salsa and bbq sauce straight from the bottle. For my sister's last birthday my mom tried making cream cheese rangoons and some of them exploded while being made, leaving empty pouches. Which he then filled with bbq sauce and ate. Grossed me out, lol

liquid amoxicillin IS good. Also those Ketchup chips and frostys n' french fries are yummy.

I'm usually a person that thinks the things are wierd and doesn't eat them, but I have some really gross cravings sometimes. Most recently, I had an urge to put feta cheese on ice cream because I had been craving feta all day long. I didn't do it, but still, made me sad that I even thought of it lol.

I have to tell the truth...most of this thread made me queasy. I am trying to think of something weird that I like... which makes me wonder what is weird.

I'm having the same problem, thinking what's weird that I like. My husband swears that my eating cheese on fish, or tartar sauce on hamburgers, is weird. Maybe so

I don't think I like anything all that weird. And Frosties and fries is not weird. It's delicious! I've been having chocolate shakes with fries since before there was a Wendy's.

Yeah, it's tough for me to draw the line too. While I love ketchup and peanut butter and jelly on saltine crackers (not at the same time, but...) I wasn't sure if they were weird or just... college student food, you know? Except I definitely ate those all the time when I was a little kid. And some people would consider the fact that I like tofu weird o_O

Growing up, I had quite a few ear infections. While the pain was unpleasant, I actually really liked the taste of Penicillin.

My weird food would be the mini-pizzas, English muffins and American cheese. But in lieu of spaghetti or pizza sauce, I use cocktail sauce. Gives it a little kick. Yum.

Shredded cheese mixed with ranch dressing on french bread. Pretty much any dried and flavored seaweed. Mochi & babinka. And "ghetto rice" which is steamed white rice with hot dog slices and ketchup

hahahah "ghetto rice"...I don't know why I find that funny.

I'll definitely give you the seaweed for weird food. Some people like it, I don't...at all. I guess I grew up too far inland to appreciate the "sea" flavors.

"Ghetto rice" actually sounds kind of delicious. We had a lot of hot dogs in our dinner entrees when I was growing up. I still throw one in a bowl of instant ramen every now and again. Mmm... college food!

I dunno - he says he can't think of any.

I am sure regional stuff seems weird to people from other areas. I just don't consider most food weird. I live in such a fabulous food city, in a multicultural neighborhood, so nothing seems strange to me. My kids have a far more eclectic palates than most adults I know. They've been eating sushi, falafel, pad thai, curry, puttanesca, gumbo, you name it, since they were tiny. I guess it's how and where you are raised.

I do like fresh raspberries that have been put in the freezer for a bit, so they're almost frozen. Yum! (not processed bagged frozen raspberries - there's a big difference!) That is one of my favorite snacks ever. I want to try that with blueberries now too. And my kids put marshmallow Peeps in the freezer before eating them.

Anyway, yeah.

My parents raised me this way too, and I'm so happy they did, because there are so many wonderful diverse foods in the world! My boyfriend on the other hand ate mostly just traditional Italian food (he's half Italian) and I have to beg him to try things. Either that or he has the food he likes and he makes grossed out faces when I eat what he considers weird food.

P.S. I'm gonna have to try the raspberries in the freezer!

OMG, I can seriously just eat cloves of garlic. YUM...Italian, it's all I know really.

Oh, and seaweed...delicious. I also drink pickle juice, I have done it since I was a kid, I will fight to death for the last pickle too.

I eat my steaks very very rare, like if they are warm, I will send it back. I get some really disgusted looks for that, but I don't care, raw steak is great.
