Sadly, I do not know of any good taco trucks in our area. I do just about everything else on the list, though!

When I really want it, I'll grab anything that remotely resembles Mexican food honestly.

It depends what I'm in the mood for. Am I in the mood for "Authentic" Mexican food, or super super cheap tacos?
We don't have taco trucks around where I live (I assume that those are something big cities have?) So, you'd be choosing from places like El Terero, Taco Bell, Taco John's, or Qdoba.

Other. Chipotle. I go there because it's convenient, you get a nice portion for a great price, and they supposedly use humanely raised meat. And it's good. No brainer there.

Pretty much all mexican restaurants in the US are tex mex. :/

Usually, just go to a locally owned place. It's the BEST Mexican food I've had and their prices are nice.

When I crave Mexican, it's normally not necessarily Mexican I'm craving but Tacos specifically. Esp Dorito Tacos. So, Taco Bell Or I go to the store and buy my own taco stuff, which if I just want normal tacos they usually satisfy more this way

Though, right now, thank you to the travel channel, I could so go for a nice thick juicy cut of cow.

Hmmm... I used to like Taco Bell, but ick! Ours is absolutely down right disgusting! Truly, truly nasty. I hardly ever get grossed out enough that I quit eating at any restaraunt, but our Taco-Bell is just crap. It always smells horrible -- like sewage. Really. The workers smoke while working and all kinds of crap. It's just unclean in general, our Taco Bell is. I hate that because we don't have one for a long ways out from my area. The second closest one is about an hour away and it's nice and clean and I;d eat there more if it weren't for there bein a Sonic right beside there. Lol. I always choose sonic.

I do LOVE Mexican food though. My favorite places to eat are El Meson & Amigos! LOVE them. I've also taken to a Chinese place recently, which is rare since I have always hated Chinese food and Asian and all that. I don't eat rice or anything, but LOVE China Moon's egg rolls and other delicious stuff. I almost always choose to eat at El Meson or China Moon.

I have never seen a taco truck, but whenever hubby and I go to Bangor, we tend to make a beeline to the closest Taco Bell XD. Or KFC.

But more then half the time I cook tacos at home, I'm very picky about the meat.

I live in Texas, so everything here is Tex-Mex. It sucks. If I want something Mexican, I make it myself, or I buy tamales from families at Christmas. I'd make tamales myself, but if I did that, I'd want it to be my family's tamales, but as far as I know, only my great-aunts know what all goes into them. I'll also go to Taco Bell, simply because I like the food, not because I believe it in any way embodies "Mexican food," but I'd go for that way before I'd go for some Tex-Mex restaurant here.

I like this place right around the corner from us. It's a mom and pop kinda deal with typical Mexican-American fare. Enchiladas, chimichangas, that kind of thing. I love their tacos - just beef, lettuce, that yummy shredded cheese and a crispy corn shell. Good stuff.
