I'm an eighties kid! Although 90s alternative rock (Smashing Pumpkins/Nirvana/etc) are very close to my heart (and ipod).

I can't stand the 80's, and I can't understand why teenagers now seem to worship that time. I was there, and it sucked... big time.

I can't choose just one! I'm kind of pissed at the 90s, though. Last weekend, my friends thought it would be funny to teach my Chinese girlfriend slang from 90s rap videos, and they managed to convince her that the terms used in 90s rap lyrics are still a part of normal English conversation. Now she's been following me arrowing the apartment saying, "I wanna shoop ba-doop," and "gimme some of dat yum-yum." Fantastic.

Oh my goodness, what a toss up between the 80's & 90's. I had to vote the 90's though, I love nearly every song that was released between 90 -94.

If we are talking about popular music then the 70's, because the rock bands were just awesome back then. But if we are talking about music that is not as mainstream then definitely the 2000's for me.

I voted 70's, but really 60's, 70's, 80's were all amazing. While my sister was inside playing with Barbies and teddy bears and being Mom's favorite, I was out in the garage listening to Classic Rock helping Dad work on his classic cars and being his favorite

Wow, The 80's were awesome. To be fair I have to say the late 70's, all 80's and 90's. There were so many groups that made it thru mult. decades. ie areosmith, ozzy, etc. My favorites; GNR, Areosmith, Pearl Jam, Metalica, Ozzy, Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, Sknard, Heart, Zombie, Van Hallen, Air Supply, Motley Crue and so many more.

There's no way the 80's were the best years in music - the 90's were when music was good. Back when nevermind kicked Michawel Jackson out of the top 40 and let a whole new genre enter the rock globe
