I bought one off ebay yesterday for $160 barely used,black and comes with sonic unleashed,wii sport,wii sport resort,and some soccer game I could care less about. A classic controller and a wii motion plus controller all the origional stuff that comes with the wii..all the hookups.

First think I'm going to do when I can afford it is get Animal Crossing City Folk. HOnestly I won't be playing my wii that much though I feel sick to my stomach most of the time on my 2 days off of work,at night I get a week I'll probly play 1-3 hours a week. But I can see an hour a week because on my days off I gotta go to wal mart at night,clean my room,cook..

If you have Netflix already or were thinking about it, get the disc for your Wii.

I call it "WiiFlix" and it is AMAZING! Suped up on-demand! Totally worth it!

I will check it out but unfortunatly I can't even afford a game I really want called Animal crossing City Folk..I really don't watch many movies,hardly ever watch one becaue theres no point I can't enjoy them when I keep getting stuck in the toilet all day and miss the whole thing. Like now I couldn't even finish this short post without being in there once. I will definently check it out though so far I have a list of games I want:

animal crossing City Folk (will buy probly the 5th when I get paid)

Sims 3
Okami wii

What do you think I got a good deal off ebay?

I couldn't resist now my money is tight until the 5th..the deal on ebay was so good I thought I wouldn't see one that low priced and with so many extras. I got it $40 less than wal mart's basic package and got more stuff.

We used to have one and even though it was a lot of fun, the novelty wore off and we eventually sold it. That was some time ago when they first came out, and sometimes I think about it getting a new one just for the Wii fitness.

I'm just looking to buy some good games I will enjoy I hope I don't tired of it but since I won't be playing much and am buying games I really want...I think I'll keep it forever.

I have one. I like the rail-gun shooters on it, the Resident Evil Chronicles series. nice challenge, fun with a 2nd person, and zombies!

I also love RPGs on there, so I suggest picking up some Zelda games (for the gamecube ones you'll need a gamecube controller which are cheap to get), maybe get Tales of Symphonia (the first one) as it has a lovely storyline. Mario Kart is great for some fun racing, Soul Caliber for fighting as well as Super Smash Brothers Brawl (which you can play people over Wifi), and if you want scary, pick up Silent Hill Shattered Memories.

Best thing about a Wii is you can play Gamecube games, too, so don't hesitate to go back and look at those as well. (But you need the controller and I think a memory card, both are dirty cheap.)

I love my Wii and my PS3.

well I will look into some of those titles but I already have a list of w hat I know I will like alot. I can't wait to get animal crossing city folk. I already have a gamecube and the wii I bought comes with a classic controller...It's gonna take forever to afford a game. I have to wait till the 5th to even see if I can get the Animal crossing one. probly just buy 1 game until christmas is over...

Never used the classic controller, always just used my NGC one. I traded in my NGC for my Wii, so yeah, i figured why have both?

I also am lucky to have a backwards compatible PS3. They don't make them anymore. Though maybe am thinking I should have kept my PS2 as well for just in case as some games don't play right. Ah well.

I'm jealous! I have a bunch of PS2 games I'm in love with and my PS2 is dying on me...I'm going to end up buying a 3 but I'll miss the old games

have you heard of De Blob? it looks good..oh one game that is really fun is called Elebits..even my mom loves it..we do have a wii in the living room my dad bought it for the family but I really prefer to play games in my bedroom..where people aren't narrating or bothering me,or the dog barking at every car and person,or the dog/cat running around, or my dad getting mad because its 11pm I just got off work and he is sleeping (sleeps in living room on couch) and has to get up early. So I can play 10 minutes or so before bed too. THey won't let me take it out of the living room,anyway would be a big hassle doing that everytime I was gonna play, and fight to anyway.

My mom said don't tell my dad I bought a wii he will be pissed..He just won't understand I need my own

I'd like to get one, but at the moment, I am so busy with other things, and other games.

Lots of people love the wii, so they cant all be wrong.

I just can't wait for this. The person said they would ship today but lost my adress and will ship tommorow so much for recieving this thursday my day off work....and my boyfriend's brithday present whill get here thursday at earliest but he may not even be able to see me that day so I'll have to wait till next week to give the gift because he doesn't like being given presents at work likes a more family enviroment he can hug me and thank me. when one good thing happens to me It's always compromised. ANyone else get the worst of luck? THe one time I caught a break at work my boyfriend covered my last 2 hours of work because I felt awful. I went home with a bad cold and sick to my stomache.

Ouch. :< Can't buy a new PS2? I'm sure they're cheap. Then save for a PS3 as well.

Some PS2 games are in the PlayStation store as well for download on the PS3. Just FYI.

Nah, my current PS2, and the one before it, were used and neither lasted long. It's time to move on and ante up

The old PS3s (like mine) are backwards compatible. They also randomly make some like the Metal Gear Solid 4 set was backwards compatible. I imagine when they make another "boxed set" like that, it'll get backwards compatibility.

The boyfriend just filled up his 60 gig harddrive with his games on there. We swapped it out for a 500 gig. I have no idea what in the world he's going to do with that much room.

More than likely he'll find a way to fill that up with games if he already filed 60 GB I have a 60GB and it's not full and I really like to game.
