I try not to grocery shop with him if I can avoid it... seriously, when he goes to the grocery store, we wind up with $100 worth of total crap. I don't know how he does it. Otherwise, we split it about even.

I do all the shopping, but say im cooking burgers and I get it in my head I want swiss cheese and grilled onions on it, ill call him and ask him to pick up an onion.

I live with family, but I do most all of the shopping. Dad and I sometimes do the weekly shopping together, though.

My husband won't let me grocery shop with him 'cause our bill doubles when I go 'cause I find new things I'd like to try. I make a trip to Whole Foods to get specialty items that we can't get at the regular store and he doesn't know what to look for there.

I used to be the primary shopper but now I live in a foreign country and it's like I'm a kid with my mom again. "Can we get this? Please???" XD

We (husband and myself) tend to do most of our shopping together, though I do all the meal planning and most of the cooking. It is amazing how often things find their way into the cart that aren't on my list...

I just open the fridge and food is there. Crazy part is that every Tuesday the fridge restocks itself.
