My other web presences is pretty big so I didn't want a picture of myself floating around. I'm also not fond of what would be considered typically erogenous on my body so.. I decided to do something sexual yet artistic and a wonderful artist on DA let me use his image for my layout. I have since adopted it for my avatar, too.
I wouldn't have felt right using an image of anyone else or anything too blatantly sexual. I thought this image was a perfect mix or classy, risque and visual factors and it represents a more general idea of sexuality. Buut, maybe that's just me

This is a photo taken of me about 4 years ago. I was talking to my best friend while it was taken. So every time I see it I am reminded of him and it makes me happy. Plus check out the serious sideburns !!!

I've used the avatar in other settings as well, and it tends to garner quite a bit of discussion. But of all the things to gossip about, safer sex is one of the most socially responsible twitters.

Somehow, the one I have reminds me of me and my boyfriend. I love that it seems to be an off-caught moment, but nothing blatantly sexual. It leaves a lot to the imagination- what where they doing? spin the bottle? naked interrogation?

I use a picture of vajradhara or Samantabhadra, who is embracing Samantabhadri. Vajradhara is the cosmic buddha who represents all that is the male entity, he also delivered the sermons on tantric buddhism. Samantabhadri is the cosmic buddha who represents all that is the female entity, as they unite in yab-yum they generate all that is found in the universe.

Mine is a very small version of an abstract "painting" I created in GIMP (Photoshop-like program). In theory it represents love and devotion; the pink is love, red is passion and the blue parts are devotion. I identify blue, traditionally a "calm" color, with devotion because I relate devotion to a sense of calm and certainty.
Abstract "art" is about the only thing I can manage; I am otherwise similar in artistic talent to the author of the Little Prince, who claims in said book to have drawn a snake swallowing an elephant as a child. All of the adults thought it was a picture of a hat.

I love slutty schoolgirl outfits, so mine is of my feet in my favorite patent-leather platform saddle shoes. Way back when I joined the program, I had to scramble to find something useable and that was the best I could do. I've thought about changing it from time to time. Maybe if a picture of me of ANYTHING above my feet ever comes out to my liking I'll do it. Really camera-shy, though, so this works for now.

I've only watched it once and I was all feverish and very medicated so I don't remember anything about it (other than the typical Bollywood glam, glitter, and SOOOONG). I should watch it again.

Mine is one I picked up from a clipart catalog when I was signing up. I liked that it looked like it might be liquid pouring in a somewhat provocative manner. I was going to use a picture of my namesake, Jimbo Jones from the Simpsons, but I was worried that it was copyrighted, so I went with the avatar I have. Plus I dealt a lot with chemistry in school, so the avatar makes sense from that standpoint as well.
