If you keep up expanding your toy collection, you might need a whole room for all your stuff!
After size and materials, I usually start paying closer attention to the features and functions. Is it the right shape and texture for my intended use? If it's a powered toy, is it rechargable? Is it waterproof? Does it vibrate, rotate, suck, flick, or thrust? What are the reviews saying about how those functions perform? Is it powerful enough for my tastes? I generally want my powered toys to be rechargable and at least splash-proof (ideally fullly waterproof). What functions I want really depends on what I'm looking for, though I usually look for toys with a good deal of power and adjustable intensity (I usually like to start out slow and gentle, but I do need some oomph to climax).
The last things I consider (though they are still part of my decision-making process, even if they're not my top priorities) are things like price and aesthetics. I don't have unlimited money, so I do have some limits on what I can comfortably afford. However, if an expensive toy looks really good to me, I always have the option of saving up for it or waiting in the hopes it goes on sale, so a higher price tag is not automatically disqualifying. It may just mean that I can't buy it right away. And while the way a toy looks is not THE most important thing, I do still prefer my toys to be aesthetically pleasing to my eye. I tend to prefer toys that come in bright, fun colours over toys that look more realistic. That said, I do have a couple more realistic toys that I really enjoy, so it's not an absolute rule. I find myself wishing that there were more colours like greens, reds, and blues available in sex toys generally (and on Eden specifically). Most of my toys are Eden-brand, and they all seem to be either pink, purple, or black. There's nothing wrong with any of those colours (in fact, I really like that purple/magenta colour that Eden uses for a lot of their silicone toys), I just wish there was a little more variety.
...wow, this got really long, sorry. I've bought a bunch of toys recently, so this is something that's been on my mind a lot, haha.
The feel and look of the silicone (love the velvety smooth ones ??).
S.I.Z.E. I like thicc and hate when every toy is 1" diameter and 4" insertable length. Yeah, I get that "It's to keep things realistic" Please! ??
Lastly, vibration type. It has to be deep, rumbly vibrations. ??

Also, take a look at the Big boy. It takes batteries, but it will definitely impress you with its size, realistic feel, and powerful vibrations.
Clitoral/g-spot/what have you does influence my decision, but that's not what brings me into a toy. It's more like I go out looking for specifically that feature, then the other details I mentioned are what draws me into the specific ones.
