No because I don't vote politically, ever, and I'm not interested at all in politics.

yes, registered as a democrat
09/15/2012
No, I wasn't quite old enough in the last election.
09/15/2012
No I'm not. I want to make an informed decision and I spend my time doing other things than staying current with politics.
09/15/2012
Yes, they registered us in my high school Government class. I don't follow politics though, so I'm probably only going to vote for president because I HOPE my vote counts and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Not only am I registered, but taking my youngest to vote for the first time in November!

I registered right after my 18th birthday and my husband and I made sure our older kids registered right after their 18th.
Politics controls what you can do, whom you can do it with, what you get paid, what kinds of jobs are available, what kinds of roads you drive on, what your taxes are... in basic everything in your life.
I honestly think its irresponsible to not stay at least somewhat updated on what's going on in politics. The rights you lose WILL be your own, if you aren't paying attention. And there are forces out there (political forces) who COUNT on young people NOT paying attention, so they can surreptitiously take away rights without being noticed.
You lose when you don't pay attention. We ALL lose when you don't pay attention.
It isn't that hard to do a little research to make sure your country stays free and the things YOU believe in stay or become legal.
You can't stand up for what you believe is right, if you don't know WHAT is going on and WHO is in charge and HOW to reach or stop them.
In our family, our kids are schooled in politics from the time they are toddlers. (I taught my next door neighbor, who was a baby at the time to yell 'BAMA!' during the last election. His parents thought it was hilarious, and his little vote was heard!)
You have to be aware to either make changes or to make sure things that are right are not taken from you.

Good job. We need more young people who give enough of a shit to keep the country running and free.

I am registered, I have voted for local issues. Couldn't vote for the big stuff that my vote doesn't count for anyway!
09/15/2012
Registered, plan to vote despite my own mother of all people saying it is a waste of time. Way to set a good example mom.
09/15/2012
Registered at 18 even though I truly believe it is a waste of time.
09/15/2012
Yes I'm registered.

Yep, I've been registered since 18. I care about politics so it's the least I can do.
09/15/2012
I registered as soon as I was able.
09/15/2012
Yeah, I am! My grandma took me to go register on my 18th birthday.
09/15/2012
Yeah
09/15/2012
Yes I am
09/15/2012
Nope. No representative and presidential is 90% one way in my area.
09/15/2012
Yep, have been since I was 18

Nope. Am going to just because. Won't vote this election, since would feel too guilty voting for either, however.
