There are so many short stories out there, with maybe 20 pages at most. But I find I much prefer a longer story with more depth, and just as much steaminess. Thoughts?

Honestly, it depends on the story. Around 15-20 pages for short stories can sometimes work amazingly well for me

I prefer short stories that are 20 pages or under but if something it exceptionally well written and interesting I'll read longer pieces.
