I usually go out on dates with people I like anyways, and I give them a kiss to see if there are any sparks. Since, sometimes you can really like someone, but once you kiss them nothing happens. So, meh.

I meant to vote it depends, but didn't accidentally. It depends on how I feel about them and whether or not the interest is mutual. I would start off with a chaste kiss on the lips and see what reaction that got first.

I have only kissed one man and I am now married to him, but he was also my first real date. We met online, lived 1000 miles apart(I was in Indiana, he was in Vermont) we were online-only for 9 months, he came to visit me and we kissed the first time the minute he had his arms around me. But the first kiss was just a small peck on the lips, because I was quite nervous because I was terrified I was going to be a bad kisser. When we were alone a little bit later he really kissed me for the first time and it was almost 3 years ago and I still remember it like it happened 5 minutes ago.
