I'm with everyone else about the liars. I hate being lied to and that's the one thing that would definitely be a deal breaker

I'd go with std. I've only had sex with four guys but still consider myself lucky since I know people who haven't been so lucky. Hairy guys don't turn me off, in fact I'm not really attracted to guys who spend alot of time worrying about their hair or body hair. Living with parents? would depend on age and reasons. Lying? would depend on what the lie was and why they used it. Everybody tells a lie ocassionally, and for lots of different reasons. If it was to cover up something they felt bad about or didn't want you to know for a personal reason, that I'd get. If it was just to be hurtful and to trick me, that I don't accept.

I agree that a compulsive liar is a deal breaker. All the other items listed are either not as important or can be fixed (STDs). To have a good healthy relationship, you need to have trust and honesty...someone who lies compulsively does not fit in with these two requirement, imho.

Lying is a HUUUUGE no!

None of the other things would bother me and most of them, are accurate lol but I don't tolerate liars. NOT ONE BIT.

I can deal with all that stuff up there except a compulsive liar. The rest can be worked on to some extent. The liar, you never know if he's telling the truth.

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. Someone who lies is just going to make every possible dealbreaker even worse and be a danger.

My partner and I actually both still live with our parents, but we're both still in college. I'm grateful they're letting me stay because I could not afford to go to school otherwise, even $150 more a month for a room in a meth-house would break me - my tuition is $600/mo at the moment and I only make $800/mo, in order to move out I'd have to drop out.

So many of my co-workers have apartments they can't afford (they make what I do, pay tuition AND try to pay $400/mo rent), and while it's great to be free and out, their credit scores are getting murdered since they can't afford all their bills every month and they're probably screwing themselves in the long-run.

Wow, hard to choose between some of them. I went with compulsive liar though, with that you never know what is true or not.

I hate lying, but actually the "deal breaker" for me was going out on a first date, ages ago. When he excused himself (we went to the movies) to go to the men's room, he did not know I followed a moment later to go to the ladies room. When I came out, in the otherwise abandoned back lobby of this multiplex, there was a frosted glass kind of partition...sort of shoulder height between the exit from the men's and ladies room. Since there was a light fixture on the side he was on, he couldn't see though that glass, but I could see towards his side just fine...and watched him picking his nose....and EATING IT. I was SO, SO, SO, SO grossed out. I would have left right then, but HE had the car.

SO....when we got back to our seats, I "suddenly" wanted NO popcorn, thank you. Wanted NO candy..thank you. Wanted NO holding of hands, thank you.

When I got back in his car, I said I was feeling really sick and could he take me RIGHT home, PLEASE (he thankfully did) and even on the way home I was grossed out touching ANYTHING in his car!!!! He tried calling me for days after that, and I didn't know how to get him to "go away"...but thankfully he, and his habit, eventually gave up.

YES, that, for ME was a MAJOR deal breaker. My stomach still churns thinking about this 42 years later!!!!!!!

Being a liar would break it right then and there, followed by an STD.

undoubtedly liar for me because he or she could then easily have all the other things without me even knowing about it.

Voted liar, but being polygamous or has an STD would be high on the list of a deal breaker as well. Oh and being overly hairy lol!

Liars and STDs are deal breakers. I don't like people with the fake personalities, either.
