In high school I dated a girl...and after about three hours, she said she had to "go home and feed her kids". I said "you are caring for your brothers or sisters"? She said "NO...MY kids". She had 2. This was FORTY YEARS AGO...that was basically unheard of. I was TOTALLY in shock. Didn't even know how to respond (today it would be YAWN..ho hum)...but NOT back then.
