I have gone to school for massage therapy, and it happens all to often that we're falling asleep during class while practicing. I've never full-on fell asleep, but I've had clients who have, and I have almost fallen asleep (both during professional massage and personal outside of that)! It's actually a really awesome compliment, knowing that your client trusts you and felt comfortable enough to do so.

If I'm tired beforehand, a massage longer than five or ten minutes will put me to sleep

I'm not usually on the receiving end of massages so I couldn't say, but they do feel nice. My husband never falls asleep during a massage.

Should say a massage makes you totally relaxed, rather than make you get tired, that's why you want to fall asleep during a massage.

Depending on what kind of massage it is, they can put me to sleep (in a good way) or rev me up.

kind of tired but not really fallen asleep as much as falling out of reality and slipping into soothing feelings kind of like sleep

My partner is too rough with massages and hurts me sometimes. I could never fall asleep, or at least until he figures out how to be more gentle with me.

Massages always make me sleepy, and I have fallen asleep a couple of times. My boyfriend used to try to give me massages as foreplay, but he's learned not to give me one til after we have sex so I don't fall asleep on him.

My husband has given me a massage every night we've been together for the past 2-3 years. I fall asleep EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I might feel sleepy but not fall asleep. If someone is touching me or something I will feel it and can't fall asleep. I'm a light sleeper as well.
