We're not religious about it. It probably averages more than 1/day - but it may not happen every day. We've been together 22+ years and can pretty much finish one another's sentences. There is no need to reassure each other - it's about expressing verbally what we know deep in our hearts.

Many, many times a day. We say it when we're together or we'll text it if we're separated by work. It hasn't lost it's meaning, because we know it isn't done to placate or to side-step anything and we genuinely like each other as individual people, not just who we are as a couple.

I say it around twice a day when I talk to him on the phone at night...and we have been together for close to five years!

I never did answer my own poll question, hah!

We've been together just over 2 years, and we say it about daily, sometimes more than that. Usually when he goes to bed, and/or when we get off the phone during the day.

We used to say it all the time, now it just doesn't happen as much. But we try to say it at least once a day.

Our 3 year anniversary is about a week and a half away, it'll be on Easter this year to be exact. We always tell each other "I love you," before we leave in the morning. Whoever has to leave first (usually me) always wakes the sleeping one up with a kiss and says it. I also tell him most nights when we're laying in bed just starting to go to sleep. We also say it before leaving the house sometimes.

Our I love yous have actually increased the longer we've been together. He didn't say it until we were over a year and a half into our relationship... and it was all awkward because he said it while I was sucking him off and was out of the blue like, "I love you too." I still don't fully know why he waited so long, but big commitments are hard for him sometimes. We started living together after 2 1/4 years, so we obviously now see each other constantly.

On average it's more than once a day, but I don't really keep track. We've been together for 5 months.

I think we say "I love you" a little more now than we did when we first started saying it, because we were both afraid of looking clingy. We've been together a year or so since the L word. =)

I have been with someone for 6months and I truly love him and tell him that acouple times aday. Its silly because I use to tell people that they were ridiculous for saying they love someone soon after getting with someone and I think that if they do it with every partner right away then they dont really no what love is.But now I kinda no...in any other relationship I had to grow to love them after along time.before now I have only been in love with one other person and I told him often too ..if I dont mean it I dont say it .

Its hard until you've experienced things... I've heard lots of people say you can't be in love until you've been together six months/ or a year/ or whatever. Then three months later they are madly in love and getting married after four months.

My boyfriend and I have been together for ten months on the first. We say "I love you" more than most people, I think. If there's ever a lull in the conversation, that's what comes out.

Several times a day we both say it, and it hasn't waned at all since we've been together. We said our first I love you's within our first week of meeting, and as time went on, we just have grown closer. Each year keeps getting better!

Try to say it when we really mean it - that way it's not a habitual thing.

When I'm in a relationship, once the "I love you"s have started, we say it all the time! When we first see each other every day, when we say goodbye, and randomly throughout the day.

Too much sometimes. We will be talking about what to have for dinner and I'll just say 'I love you. I want you to know that.' randomly. I can't help it though.
