We're sort of an other. As far as I'm concerned, everybody poops, so I don't really care if he knows I do it. If he needs to come in while I'm doing that, I don't really care. I give him his privacy while he's sitting down, and if he's in the middle of peeing, I'll normally just wait until he's done.

We don't care one way or the other. It is something we all do and after 21 years it is not something that private anymore.

With my *husband* it doesn't matter, we come and go in the bathroom as we please.
With play partners.. Well, I'll only leave the door open if my husband tells me to, which is rare.
And, we do have a door on our bathroom, I just didn't see another option.

I try to stay as far away as possible when hubs is seated, and usually for quite a bit of time after. His leavings definitely don't smell like a field of daisies.

The door never closes to the bathroom. And there is never any concern about being in the bathroom while the other is going. It doesn't matter to us.

I selected only when we pee but we are more of in the other category.
My partner will let me in only when he pees and even that makes him uncomfrotable, which is fine and I respect that. I can go for number 1 and 2 with the door open and not mind him walking by. As long as he doesn't stand there staring at me, it's all good.

Other... We won't go number 2 with the other in there. J can pee while I'm in there as long as he's sitting down 'cause he get's extremely pee-shy (I'm not sure why sitting down makes a different for him). So if he's in there with the door closed I knock or just wait for him to open the door. I can pee while he's in there no problem.

We have a pretty good sized master bath with a door separating the toilet area for privacy. We usually leave it partially open for communication. However, we sometimes close it and turn on the fan out of respect for each other.

My wife is allowed in, but I get stage fright whenever she's in the room and can't pee. Actually, this happens everywhere. It's aggravating as all hell being somewhere where I have to pee really badly and can't because someone is near me. Oddly enough, the only two people who can be in the room with me when I pee are my kids.
