I always seem to have a hard time getting info out of partners about what toys they want. I especially try to push my current partner to talk with me about what to buy for us since we use our toys together. I don't want to buy things my partner is not interested in. Whenever I ask though, I don't get straight answers, or I'm told "I don't know," "you pick," and that sort of thing. I know it's not disinterest, because we both are enthusiastic about purchasing new things. It's just always left up to me on what to purchase! Do other people have similar situations?
Does your partner give input on toy purchases?

I do most of the toy shopping alone. My husaband is usually up for whatever, and most of the time lets me pick whatever I want. Sometimes he will pick something out, but it's rare.

I do most of it on my own.

I will locate items of interest. We then decide together if it will work. It helps to not purchase items either of us might not use.

He suggests things.

I don't need his input on what I'm getting, because I'm the one using the toys.

I do a lot of toy shopping on my own if it is a toy that is just going to be mine, but if I'm looking for a toy that we will both use, then I definitely need to have input from my partner. We frequently go "window shopping" on here just for fun.

It's mostly just me...

We shop together.

If it's for him, obviously he has a say. But if it's for me or us I usually do most of the shopping. He likes to be involved but doesn't care about having input.
01/21/2013
Mostly it is just me. Sometimes I will ask for his opinion.
01/21/2013
I think he's better at picking out what I will like better then me!!
01/21/2013
I pick for me only

I have no lover

We buy for each other.

I do all the toy shopping without input from my partner.
01/21/2013
When I can't decide what to get next, I'll ask him to help choose for me, but for the most part I do all my own shopping. When I know there are certain toys he'd love to use with/on me or watch me us, I make an extra effort to put those at the top of my list though.

Me and my partner usually shop together I find it best that way plus I get to see what she likes best. Sometimes she does surprise me with a gift you cant mind that though whoohoo
01/21/2013
I pick, he gets some input though
01/21/2013
Tis is really more my thing than his. I will on occasion ask for his input on lingerie so I purchase something he likes but the toys, their mostly mine. He has discovered things he enjoys as well, the free rings, the inexpensive cages and pillows but that's about it. I wanted to get him a more substantial ring but I'm told to hold off on it. As I said, this is more my thing than his.

I do all of the shopping but I will ask for his input, sometimes at least.
01/22/2013
I do most of my toy shopping myself. When I had a partner, he would help on occasion as to what interested him.
01/22/2013
90% of the time we shop together, sometimes I will suprise him with something. I know what he likes so it's usually a good thing!

I do it all alone, I wish she'd give me more input, but she likes to be surprised

My partner doesn't know about Eden so he doesn't give input. He'll probably know when I give him our anniversary gift but even when he knows he probably won't give his input

I do most of it. He makes suggestions
