My longest relationship is about six months. Weird I know. Maybe there's something about me... Anyway, it didn't end well. She was cheating; I undoubtedly got mad, we argued, blah blah.

5 years, she passed away. Today was the day we were suppose to get married. Sometimes life makes no sence.

Almost 4 years, um I can't say that it ended well or not. I guess it ended badly but it was the best gift ever. So glad to be out of that shit show.

Uhh, well, umm . . .
I've had three last more than two months. The first one lasted about 8 months and he was really abusive towards me and I didn't date anyone for four years after that. The next guy and I dated for about a year, but things fell apart pretty early because we had no chemistry. Almost two years later we're still roommates and basically act like a platonic married couple. The one I'm in now has just about 7 month mark and is going strong. It's the first one I've had that's been how a relationship should and it's a total learning experience for me. I have a dating site to thank for this one.

Mine was 4 years, an LDR. It ended very badly as I found out he was cheating on me. He even told me he wanted to leave me 2 years into the relationship, but dragged it on thinking things would 'just work out' rather than address any of the problems we had. He ended up choosing the other girl over me, and everyone disapproved, including his family. Things got so bad he just packed his things and moved in with his new girl and her mother into some run down old trailer.
Total coward, looking back on it, I did way more in the relationship than he ever did, and he was very self centered, only wanting sexual gratification for himself. But he was my first bf and i was completely blind, so it's my own fault. Just very glad I never ended up moving over to him.

Am I the only one here who doesn't really keep track of time? I actually refer to events in the past based on who I was dating at the time, rather than measuring the time I'm dating people. Things like, "Oh, the last time I made massaman curry was when I was dating X, because we bought the ingredients together but I made it by myself."
So... I think my longest relationship was my high school one? That lasted from ... the middle of high school some time, until technically the day I left for college, but realistically until the beginning of my second semester of college.

We have been together 3 years last month. Living together all but a month of that time.

2 years and a month and still going! Half a year ago we almost broke up, which brought some understanding and totally changed our relationship for the best.
