i was with a guy for almost 6 yrs. we broke up for 6 months.we are now together again. when we were separated he would tell me that he wishes he wouldve done things different with me. now that we are together again,
everything is going perfect. i do feel that "sometimes two people have to fall apart to realize how much they have to fall back together."
has anyone ever been in this situation? do people really change?
if he falls back to his old habbit, should it be over?

I suppose it would depend for me on what said old habits are.

My hubby and I dated for 4 months then split up and 5 years later got back together. next weekend is our 10 year anniversary. So I would say that sometimes people have to fall apart to realize how good they are together.

As for old habits, depends on the habit. Some can be over looked if you really care enough about the person. Like leaving dirty clothes on the floor, or forgetting to put dishes in the sink.
