when the wife does not work, she does all the cooking. That way we can eat almost as soon as I get home from work. Makes getting the kids ready for bed easier. But because of the way this country is at the moment, she is working nights after I get home. So I do most of the cooking. That works out better, food wise. I am a trained chef, so I do cook better then the wife. (shhhhhh, dont tell her I said that)

With my partner, I cook most of the time. He doesn't like doing it, but will if it's something I refuse to cook (oxtails and other gross things).
With my dad (with whom I'm currently living), I cook virtually entirely. Dad's the dishwasher and the surface cleaner, heh.

My wife loves to cook. She cooks most of the time as she gets home from work 2 hours before I get home. On weekends when we are together, I help her. I get to be the sous chef.

We usually take turns with cooking, depending on who is working. I work at night and I love waking up to dinner already being put together and I know he likes to have food ready when he gets home from work.

I love to cook, but I hate to do dishes, so we have a system: I'll cook dinner, and he'll do all of the dishes associated with dinner. It works out great for us!
