We notice that friends who use to call each other little pet names "pooky" and "suger", seem to fall into the "Sue" and "Bob" thing after many years. We STILL use our "love names" for each other. Do you?

Yup, even after 21 years. We find new names now and then but we always revert back to the old original names.

I was Bunny for ages.
Random people (guys I've met, etc...) have been referring to me as Princess lately. Let's see if that sticks with the next guy. Haha

Now we have some really dirty names as well but let's leave it at the sweet ones LOL

Sometimes. I Call My S.O. by a shortened version of his name, but sometimes I call Him by his play name. Which, Is Baby Boy, sweetie, darling, ect.

We met in College on our track team and before we were even dating I jokingly called him joey Juice and i still call him it from time to time. we also use the basic's like babe sweetie Ect.

I did for the 4 years I was with my bf, now my ex. But once it's over, back to names. I'm sure I'd keep using pet names and such if with someone and we get older, I just find it weird to call someone by their name all the time when together. But I'm simple, i just like 'dear' and 'hunny.'

I think a mixture is great. Too much pet name is horrible and can even ruin a relationship, you begin to see that person as "baby" rather than their own, individual self. It makes sense if you think about it. I call my girlfriend just enough pet names to make her smile and keep them special.

Never had pet names, probably never will... Unless you count "Bitch!" and "No, you're a bitch" as pet names. It's said affectionately, after all.

13 years together and we still call each other our pet names. Ours aren't exactly sweet names though. More silly asshole type names to call one another. Then of course there is the general use of the word "baby" when we call for each other.
