Sorry couldn't resist the last choice. Most swing clubs willing accept unattached females but will stop unattached males at the door...seems the average Mr. Swinging doesn't like a "stray" man possibly staring at his Johnson or some other stupid reason. It sucks for guys like my husband who would love to join a reputable, reasonably safe swing club but I prefer not to. So I either have to go along or swear, avow and affirm that he is my husband and I know he's there. There are more "rules" and "regulations" in swinging than are in most extreme sports!

I am interested in swinging, though honestly it seems like most swingers are at least 10-20 years older than I, so I'm not sure I would find anyone I was really attracted to. May have to save this fantasy for later.

The swing club where I live is crawling with creeps. It's so gross, to be honest, and the owner doesn't keep it up like he should. I have to sanitize myself when I leave to go home at the end of the night. Needless to say, I haven't been in well over a year.

I had to vote for the last choice too, it made me laugh.

I'd be too afraid honestly. Afraid that I would get raped, or get a disease, and not receive any pleasure.

I'd only go if I had very close friends that I trusted with my safety.

many clubs do not permit single males. i would more likely go to an on premise then off premise if going alone. i never have. but it just seems safer.

Actually, I wouldn't say it was awful, just uncomfortable. I was the only single woman there and men were all over me. I felt that I had to work too hard to say no and that I was 'on display'. I am glad I tried it thought.

We had friends who were swingers, but it would definitely be weird going there with friends or making friends. The whole situation is just too different for me.

Okay, I looked it up...I'm shocked that women swinger's rates of infection were so much higher than prostitutes'. But there are a couple of other reasons they may be correlated. The age group that had the highest rate were in their mid-40's and up, which is the group that currently has one of the fastest rates of HIV and STI infection anyway. Also, the study was done in the Netherlands, where prostitution is highly regulated. I'd be willing to bet they'd find the same thing here in Nevada, if they compared the swinger population to those of prostitutes. The workers in our state have weekly exams and have had a virtually zero STI transmission rate for decades. They are absolute pros at safer sex methods, so it's not really a fair comparison (though you would think that swingers would also be motivated to consistently practice safer sex methods as well).

I'm totally shocked. Swingers of all people are usually so pro safer-sex. I bet it has to do with oral sex. but then still...it just makes no sense to me.
