I was not too crazy about the marriage idea until I met my current partner. He knows I expect him to propose to me, but not until I finish grad school.

I'm divorcing my only marriage today (Monday, 11/15).
I don't ever want to go through such an institution again - especially the name-changing part of it. I'll just live in sin.

I'm only 22 so I have a while but I have never really cared if I ever get married or not, as long as I find someone who makes me happy and can love my son and treat him like their own.

Not marrried yet, I don't know that we will. It would be nice but I feel like marriage somtimes is like a way of showing that your relationship is valid or official and I don't really need to do that (thats just my perception though). I am comfortable with not getting married. Marriage sort of scares me actually, lol.

Zero, but I've been engaged twice. Once when I was young and blind, and another because he guilt tripped me into saying yes while I was pregnant and bringing up suicide. I'm not looking for marriage for a very long time.

Once, and it didn't last more than a year and a half. We were together for 4 before the marriage too.
We used to fight a lot and I found that I would use ultimatums too often. Most common was, " If you cant do the dishes to save our relationship, it's over!" I thought that if I took breaking up off the table we would be forced to find another way to work things out.
Don't ever get married for this reason. It was stupid. We broke up because it wasn't working out. Marriage didn't change that.
I have no interest in marrying again, but I am not yet 30, so there is plenty of time to change my mind. I was however considering a "mock wedding" I would force everybody to dress like a pirate, being drunk on rum would be obligatory, and the wedding favors would be treasure maps to actual favors. Or possibly poorly written limericks.
