If a sexy guy that I have mutual feelings for wanted to help me out in the toy department, I would let him. We could both share in the pleasure of it, so I don't really see any problems with it.

Personally, I would feel very weird if someone who I was not already sleeping with wanted to pick out a toy. Even if I was sleeping with them, it would depend on the type of toy. My pleasure is one area of my life that I am very picky about.

Don't lead someone on if you already know you don't want a sexual relationship with them. In some cases it's rude, but in others it can be downright dangerous. But if you are interested in this guy, it could be fun I suppose, but I'd definitely be too shy to ever participate in that sort of thing myself.

I would say you should give him an idea of what you're looking for, and then encourage him to pick something out. Obviously you want it to be in the realm of something you would actually use, but if he wants to be involved, I don't see why that would be a bad thing.

Haven't lead him on, he knew from the start that we would eventually have sex Just the circumstances were not right at the moment due to his line of work. We have had sex and he still helps pick out my toys and lingerie. At first yes I thought it would be awkward asking but he said I am grown and you are grown so ask away. He was excited to pick a new toy for me I always send him a wishlist to choose items from.

You actually didn't give enough info. Based on what little info you gave, if it isn't likely to happen, I wouldn't encourage him or tease him to think about something that isn't going to happen or waste his time.

If you go back and read my responses since I did leave out a few things you will see "WE PLAN ON HAVING SEX" just at the point he was choosing my toy it was unlikely due to the line of work he is in and the distance between us at the moment. An we have had sex so no I wasn't teasing him or leading him on

If you are NOT in a sexual relationship, and even more telling, you say you are not likely to be, with him, then it is completely sending the wrong message to have this guy....who knows nothing of your sexual wants, to be discussing this with you (or you with him), let alone "helping you pick out a toy". That is beyond "tease", it is "setting him up" and that is just wrong.

Please read my responses the reason I stated at the time of the post that it wasn't likely, it was worded wrong an I later stated we PLANNED on having sex at the time it was IMPOSSIBLE with his work schedule and some other factors. My last post BEFORE this one I stated the SAME thing pretty much and that we ARE having sex! We were going to end up in a sexual relationship so I wasn't leading him on or any of that.


I love that he is into picking things out for me from lingerie to toys I haven't ever been with someone who took my toy buying seriously or into consideration of it being a "couples" thing. It was always a "me" thing that they wanted no part of.
