All of the above! When my kids started asking in front of people what all of those noises were last night and actually imitated the sounds, I was forced to tone it down. I have learned to enjoy it quietly. =P I prefer loud, moans, groans, writhing....all of it though. Needless to say, I'm always glad when their grandma volunteers to take them for the weekend! =)

*Giggling* I'm sure!

H and I adore being free to do whatever, but when we had house guests recently we realised being 'free' meant loud and not exactly confined to any one area... it's just so much more appealing =)

99% of the time, I'm load as all Hell. Everything from giggling to dirty talk, depending on the sort of sex. I've actually scared people before with some of the stuff that comes out of my mouth, since I tend to look very young and innocent. (Well, I am pretty young, so that's kind of moot.)

It really just depends on the mood I'm in and if there are people around or not. Some moaning and deep breathing is almost always involved though. I do wish my partner would make a little more noise. He's the quiet type, he only moans a little here and there. I want more more more!

Wow, "LOUD." You can tell I need laid. T_T

As for a story: when a partner of mine lived in an apartment with super-thin walls, we once got a letter slipped under our door that politely asked if we could please quiet down after 9pm, since she could "hear everything" when she was trying to sleep. It was from the woman whos bedroom neighbored hers...and apparently, this woman was a kindly old grandmother who brought my partner cookies on holidays.

I'm tough to embarass, but that was MORTIFYING.

I'm more of a vocal one. Moaning, screaming. I can get a little loud. BUT I know when to keep quiet (if we have guests, etc.). My partner is pretty quiet in bed overall.

I'm really used to having to keep it quiet from living in my parents house and having housemates at school, so it's sometimes hard for me to let loose and be loud when no one else is around. When I do though, I can get pretty loud. I love getting to moan and be loud. Love it. My partner's usually quiet, but gets vocal when he really likes something.

I like several others have already mentioned can get pretty loud..... and also as others mentioned my h is more quiet..... and I wish he wasn't!!!! I mean if it feels good don't keep it to yourself... let me know.
he is getting more verbal and aggressive in bed which i do so enjoy. he was so gentle to start with I guess he was afraid he would hurt me. one night i was getting really into it and finally told him to "hold me down"

afterwards we got to talking and he told me that he didn't know I liked that. and I told him that i do enjoy getting physical as long as he doesn't get "too" physical. he seemed happy to know. and I can tell that he likes it too.

I too have to be quiet most of the time except when they are at grannies house... (love that) we have 4 so we don't get alone much when we can enjoy it without keeping an ear out for the kids.

I am the quiet one for the most part but my wife can be pretty loud when she thinks the neighbors aren't listening. We used to live in this home that was converted into three apartments. Well one weekend we thought we had the place to ourselves so there was no holding back. Then on Monday morning we found out our neighbors grandparents were staying in the next door apartment watching their cat. We got quite the knowing wink from the old man, his wife didn't seem to pleased though.

Moaning and screaming, and sometimes almost crying, here. I also have a habit of biting on the sheets or pillows.

We can both be loud, verbally as well as with sounds..I just let go. Tough at times to adjust with guests or staying in motels. I have felt embarrassed the next am as I normally considered quiet and not too emotive by some friends.

I bite down on pillows, sheets, whatever is within reach. I've ruined a few pillow cases.

I'm actually pretty quiet. I'm responsive, the volume level is just low. I like a little volume out of my parter, though. It's quite a turn-on.

Yep I bite them too - but only when we have company or I have to be quiet as it's the only way to tone down the volume.

I find that anal play makes me A LOT louder than anything else.

Also no matter how wonderful a toy is I can control my volume as long as I'm controlling the toy. Weird.

Apparently I'm quite amusing. A combination of moaning and really dirty talk... and curse words I would never say otherwise. I've also been called a "flailer".

Yea, I'm also much quieter during solo play.

My husband makes lots of noise, which is great and a major turn-on for me. But I've always been pretty quiet. I think he'd actually like it if I was a bit more of a moaner, but I'm just not. We definitely like the dirty talk, though. It's so funny hearing him say "fuck." He won't even say "hell" in normal situations. He won't even say "Jackass" when talking about the movie (which we saw for our first date, haha). He'll just say "that movie we saw." But he's all over the place with the cursing during sex.

I love noise in the bedroom (though not only in the bedroom I have always been a moaner, but dirty talk is a HUGE turn on for me. My husband was just getting good at finally opening up with responsive noise and dirty talk when we split I am hoping my next relationship is with someone who can be comfortable being vocal from the get go.

I used to be quite loud for solo play as well, though I try really hard to be quiet now. I woke up my 4 year old once and she screamed "shut up, go to sleep!" through the vent. I was very embarrassed and felt bad that I had actually woke her up (she is grumpy when woke up besides). Plus, the cats stare worse if I make noise.

I'm a loud one: screamind, moaning, yelling, all that. My partner isn't very loud, but he tries sometimes because he knows I love it when he makes a lot of noise. We don't have kids, so that makes it easier.

We used to live in an apartment, and I actually got several of those notes under the door asking us to tone it down.

Funny thing happened once when we went to PA to visit his parents. They're both very open, and have no compunctions about bringing up sex during dinner even. The first time I met them we were staying a week at their house, and one night THEY woke us up with their noise. Then, brought it up at dinner the next night!

Haha, the "flailer" comment made me laugh! I'm just the opposite--when I get close, my entire body tenses up and becomes as rigid as a board. I've pulled quite a few muscles just from simple tension!

I tighten up too and then I shake like I'm having a semi-seizure. My husband can always tell when I'm about to cum because I start doing that. It's usually from trying to "force" myself to have an orgasm, I'm so focused on it- I'm grinding my toy against my clit or rubbing my fingers so fast and so hard that my body tenses because I just want my release!

I used to be LOUD. I'm talking- HOLY CRAP, is someone performing an exorcism? Now I can't be, we have a child and we have neighbors. I don't want to wake my son up or make him live through years worth of trauma because either he found out my husband and I were having sex or he thought my husband was hurting me. It's strange being so quiet but guess what? My throat doesn't hurt anymore and I'm not hoarse afterward! Go figure!

I love hearing my husband moan, even if it's quietly. Usually he doesn't make any noise because he's focusing on NOT cumming. He'll get the bored look, do the robotic pumping, and stare at the curtains. If he starts to get into it it's over after 3 minutes- not even kidding. Stamina is not his strong suit.

Let me define loud because we all have different definitions. When I was on top, I would literally smack my hands against the wall, I would shout and "rawr" like I was a beat cop giving him a shake down, and I would yell obscenities at the top of my lungs that would make a porn star blush (I'm a singer so I know how to make my diaphragm work the way it needs to, I also know how to open the back of my throat and curve my mouth so it amplifies the sound.. plus, screaming in a metal band in my late teens taught me a thing or two about screaming).... I was young, carefree, and I didn't give a shit what my neighbors thought. I miss it but like I said, I can actually carry on a conversation after sex now instead of using sign language for a throat lozenge or a cup of hot tea.

I don't make a sound while my man does cunnilingus but other wise I moan. We do dirty talk but my partner more than me, and it isn't very dirty, it's more like "you're such a dirty girl, you deserve it!" lol.

I yell when I orgasm, it just burst out like a balloon I can't help it so I have to make sure my mouth is not too close to his ears.

When I went to sleep for the first time at L's parents house and we tried to be quiet, we were so ignorant. The next day L's father came to see him (after I was gone) to talk about safe sex, it was so embarrassing for him since it is sort of taboo talking about sex in his house.

One night I slept at this guys house and while we were doing it (this is where I can relate to red hippie here) we could here his mother and her partner doing it on the floor above us. The next morning everyone got up for breakfast and his mother was all smiles and said an awkward comment like " Well sounds like everyone had fun last night". I just did not know what to reply.

Oh, and L moans but softly and it just makes me feel so inlove and connected to him when we breathe and moan in each others ears during missionary.

LOL reminds me of when my daughters were seriously upset with me....we wouldn't allow them to jump on the beds but it was OBVIOUS that my husband and I were doing just that....

One of our cats has occasionally tried to interrupt sex by biting our feet, talk about distracting!

I'm usually pretty quiet, my partner likes to make some noise, but not too much loud moaning here. Sometimes we both just let go, and that can be a lot of fun, but it's not always the norm of our sex lives.
