Ugh! Has this ever happened to you?

Contributor: PropertyOfPotter PropertyOfPotter
I spent over an hour writing out a review. I was almost finished when I accidentally clicked on a button that brought me to my homepage. When I clicked back, all the text that I had, was gone! I had to totally start over! I was SO discouraged!!! Has that ever happened to you?

That's what you should write them in Microsoft Word first!

Yup, happened to me a few times, sucked royal.

Most of the time I write it in word first now, saves a lot of rewriting.

Yes---I clicked out of my word program and accidentally did not hit save!!! And a couple times when I wrote my reviews on here. I do this occasionally, it really is a bad day for me when that happens.

Yes! It's happened several times to me. I always try to write my reviews on the site, as I don't care for my laptops word processing program...sucks when something goes wrong, and my review gets lost.

I really wish that EF automatically saved reviews as drafts every few minutes, like many e-mail programs do.

Never happenned to me, but only because I oversave my stuff.

Yes it has happened to me more than once. Luckily though, when I clicked back, my stuff was still there. It does that to me with messages too sometimes.

I write mine in Google Docs, which is handy because it is constantly auto-saving.

I almost cried when it happened, but sucked it up, and rewrote it. I don't feel like it was as good as the first one though, sure sucks the passion out of it when you have to do the same thing more than once!

This actually happened to me once in word (since that's where I write my reviews). My cat walked over my keyboard and I guess it selected all text and deleted it. I was like GRRRRRR! lol. Now in Word I'll click the little "save" button after every paragraph just in case!

This I never write in the review boxes until I'm totally done, I just copy/paste them in.

This has never happened to me but if it did that would be okay because I write everything on Word first. That way it's saved and formated how I want everything while making sure everything is spelled correctly. Still proofread though because there can be missed errors.

It hasn't happened to me on EF, but it did on my website, where I review for other companies. I had almost finished a rather lengthy review and reached over to take a sip of my beer. Boom...I hit something on my laptop with some part of my body and I had a yahoo as instead of my beautiful review. I save constantly now. Thankfully I could recall most of what I had talked about in the review. Yeah...I wanted to cry.

That happened to me just the other night. I was completely done - all I had to do was insert my pictures. Bleh - I was pissed.

This is why I always copy and paste 'em into a text file before hitting submit!

I've been having a similar problem with Eden today where it'll randomly redirect to the homepage when I click on something. So annoying.

It's happened to me as well. I've started doing them in Word like others have mentioned after it happened to me.
