So far I have had two amazing Mentors. I was just thinking that there should be some kind of monthly(or weekly) 'shout out' to the students favorite mentors. Kind of like the welcoming of the 'newbie’s'...

I was thinking maybe a poll made up of the mentors, for the students to vote on the most helpful and what not. Just an idea that popped in my head.

Thoughts on this..?

There is a Mentor Program section in the Forum categories. You can post 'congratulations' to new graduates, or 'thank yous' to Mentors if you like.

Good idea and much appreciated! I think the mentors should get a score at the end of the class. But this is something down the road since it just got started.

The new EdenPoints Program should help out the mentors! As well as the students and much more. But Still a shout out is always appreciated.. I'll be sure to do that!!

As Reviews get rated or scored I think a similar option for both mentors and students could be a good feature for the future, as just because someone has written great reviews doesnt mean they are either a great student or mentor. just my 2 cents worth

I like the idea of being able to do something special for the mentors who go above and beyond, but since most students only have one or two I don't see how voting would work...

It might be a bit much to keep up with, but I think it's a great idea! I'd personally love to give a shout out to my last mentor, Airen Wolf! My new mentor is VieuxCarre, and I've also had Lauren as my mentor too!

Could be cool.. but Mentors kind of already get a little Mentor appreciation when their students graduate. Also, some Students choose to thank their Mentor after they graduate by posting in the Mentor Program section of the forums, like Gary said.

On the community news page (if you scroll up to the top of the screen you'll see it), there's a list of available mentors right underneath the videos. There's always someone willing to help out

How do you have 2? Once I graduate I can sign up again? Can I sign up with the same or I need to choose somebody else? What will be the result after I graduate the second time?

Yes, you can sign up as many times as you like, and you can pick me again if you like or if you want a different mentor to maybe have a different outlook on things you can do that as well. When you graduate the second time nothing happens except the kudos for graduating.

OR maybe, since sometimes people don't stop to think and thank the mentors, maybe since they are really providing EF a service, they could request a $25 gift card after graduating 10 students or something like that.
