I have been with my man for 4 yrs and we are getting married this year. we have been talking about anal for a few weeks now and was wondering how bad does it hurt, how good does it feel, should we continue without doing it?

I voted no because I've never done anal. My partner and I aren't into the idea. But, everyone is different. Only you will know if you like it enough to keep doing it. Also, only do it if you're comfortable with it.

Gah, I have to say no. I'm so close to my next change to try, though! I know I enjoy anal toys, though. Just make sure to relaaaaaax and use lots of lube.

The double negative in your question is confusing. Anal sex is pleasurable if done properly = so yes you should continue to try - but go slowly, with plenty of lube and start with penile penetration. Work up from simple massage to fingers to small toys - eventually you'll understand your body enough to enjoy the sensations. Something that should be rewarding for both of you.

If you want to then by all means go ahead and try it, but count on it being a process that can take time - at least a month, maybe more.
When done properly it feels good and there is no pain, and only a bit of discomfort from time to time.
If you don't want to do it than don't - if you feel pushed into it and are doing it because you feel you have to then you're much less likely to enjoy it.

I love anal. LOVE. Like everyone else has said: stop if it hurts, only try when you are feeling up to it, and it may take time to become comfortable with. I cannot imagine life without it (I refuse to!!) but its also completely cool if you try it and its just not your bag. You never know until you've tried.

It's worth a try if you're interested. If either of you don't like it, then you can just stop and not do it again. At least then you know, right?
Personally I think anal is A LOT of fun. I love it. My guy doesn't like doing that to me though, and I have friends that don't like it. But everyone is different, so take some time, maybe experiment with fingers or a small toy first even.

Should it hurt, No. Should you attempt it, possibly. It would be better if you were to play with toys before hand to open you up & get used to something in there. I would suggest reading "the ultimate guide to anal sex for women" by Tristan Taormino to answer any questions you have. Try experimenting with smaller toys & using lots of lube before jumping into full blown anal sex.
