Which do you prefer and why? I am knew to anal so I would like to decide which to go for first. I don't see myself walking around with a plug in much. I like stroking more. I would like to hear others preferences tho.

It feels great to have something to grip against while I come, but I don't reall care what that thing is. I go with probes and dildos because they also move. I like motion.

I really like both. I picked others though because I prefer the graduated bead style trainers and those can come in plugs or probes.

I like both, it depends on my mood. Plugs are more to put in and leave in place for a while, although having your partner move them around a little can be fun. Probes are usually used with motion, either thrusting or twisting or inserting and then "popping" each bead out. Probes usually go further in, too.
We've also been on a little bit of a probe kick with our old Marble G. I took the batteries out and we've been (carefully) using it as a probe frequently. My poor plugs have been neglected.

If you like stroking go probe - you won't regret it. Plugs are hard to stroke with, but probes are hard to keep in place without a hand.

I generally prefer plugs, but probes have their place, too. It just depends on what I'm in the mood for. Since you like stroking more, I'd go with a probe.
