I have the Ripple and I love it. For introductory anal, it is a great toy. The graduated beaded shaft allows someone to warm up to it. I don't think you can compare beads to the Ripple, the purpose of each seems similar, but i think of the Ripple more as a dildo....

The beads are much better for extra stimulation during intercourse (the infamous pulling them out)
