a) it's more sanitary and

We have had both. The Beginner kit is nice in that it has different shapes and uses.

Personally my girlfriend and I just got this kit and she loves it. The colors are cute and the different shapes help her get a feel for different positions and comfort levels as she is adjusting to them.
