I'm new to anal toys. I like both of these shapes and I'm torn between them!
Which toy for a beginner?

I personally like the look of the Luxotiq - but it's much more expensive than the royal ripple. If you've not done much anal play and you're not sure you're going to like it, you might want to go with the cheaper toy first, if you like them both.

I'd go with the Luxotiq anal plug

I have decided that when (if) I ever want to try out anal play I want to get the Luxotique. It seems nicer because it has the little nub at the end that you can use to warm up, and then you can thrust and relax and work on pushing the rest of it in. It IS very expensive, but you can use points and it seems like a better shape.

I am so afraid to try this, but it would be good to hear other people opinions about the topic. Good idea.

I like the shape of both

Both of the toys are fantastic, however they are miles away from beginner levels. If you look at two points here:
1. Material is "glass" - meaning that is not giving in on insertion and requires a level of expertise or already quite warmed up anus.
2. The diameter is 1 3/8 in one case and 2 1/2 inches. To be honest it took me a lot of time (years) to work up on the level of Randy which is "just" 2 1/8 inches and from soft material.
If you're new to anal play and start out with a big toy you will be probably quite frustrated and/or in pain. I'm not saying it will take you years, might be few weeks or months - but you will have to work it up. I have a list of items I could recommend for the start, have a look if you like.
If you want to get into the anal play area with comfort and ease I guess the best thing is to start with smaller dildo like the:
Blush UR3 Anal Starter
or a silicone alternative:
Sedeux Please
To grow up I'd suggest:
Pure Skin Player jr
The silicone alternative is:
VIP Super Soft
For Butt Plugs:
The best training of all times (after you grow out of the beginners toys):
Triple Ripple
Best Butt Plug (I guess many will agree):
Ryder
And finally my personal favorite among plugs:
Gapers Organic
Generally speaking that's my product advice. For lubes you have to look for yourself what suits you more. Just don't use silicone lube on silicone toys, it really kills them. The rest as usual, hygiene, foreplay, foreplay, lube -> and plenty of fun

I agree with this. I would also recommend thinking about getting a kit with a variety of shapes. I bought this as my first set.
