I like the similar shape of both of these, and the ratings aren't too far off nor are the dimensions (the Sugar drop is a bit larger). If anyone has tried both, can you recommend one over the other?
I read a review (can't even remember where) that suggested the flat head on the Sugar Drop was too thick and the edges on it were too harsh to be able to use comfortably.
Then again, it does come in some amazing(!) colors =)
The dimensions are actually a lot different than they appear, Ella is a LOT smaller. There's a video of both, if you can watch it, that shows.
Personally, I like the Sugar Drop better - though I do not use the flat handle as a head. Ella catches on my pubic bone a lot and is a bit small to me.

I'm with CA. I bought the Sugar Drop, and it's like "HOLY SHIT. It's a monster!" It's so much bigger than the dimensions make it look. Even CA's video doesn't portray it nearly as much as it really is.
I like the Ella tons more. The Sugar Drop is definitely more for those that like larger-diameter toys which I don't. Plus, the Ella was made for g-spot stimulation while the Sugar Drop was made as a dildo with an odd handle.
As for what I'd recommend over both, it's easily the Bent Graduate. That's my favorite g-spot toy by far.
sorry... i have only tried ella but i still voted because I love her! IMO if you want size then SD would be the way to go, but Ella is just so lavishing!

I'm definitely afraid if the catching on the pubic bone...I do not like that feeling.

The Bent Graduate is supposed to be amazing but I need a bit of flex in my g-spot toys which is why I'm looking at silicone...I have some glass ones and while a few work, I mainly just end up bruising myself

I'd go with Ella more. It has more happy g-spot "I Swear by this" users.
I voted Ella because I love it! I had considered the Sugar Drop however, and I there was a reason I didn't get it, but for the life of me I don't remember why. It must've been something I read in a review that turned me off about it.
Well, I'm not voting because I don't have the Sugar Drop. I have the Ella and I love it!
My best silicone G-spotter is the Ophoria Beyond No. 3 though. I had to file down the seam on it because I am so sensitive, but none of my other silicone toys work quite as well as that one does -- and I have some great silicone G-spotters. (Too bad you don't like hard materials because I can recommend some amazing glass, metal, and wooden G-spotters!).
The Jollies Thrust is a good silicone G-spotter, too. For a vibrating silicone G-spotter, the Fun Factory Delight is wonderful, as is the Je Joue G-Ki.
I haven't tried the Luxotiq silicone Isis, but it is on my Wish List. It looks like an amazing G-spotter!
I have the Ella and I really like it. I've never had any trouble with it catching, as it does have some give to it. I'm always more careful with the Gigi for that reason, as it's the same shape, but firm.

The Ella's too small. We have the Sugar that was made before they put the bumps on it. She likes it but actually prefers the Alumina Flow - similar shape but that nice heavy metal feel.

The Ella is great if you're looking for a silicone dildo in this shape. Thanks to Carrie Ann, we can see just how big of a difference there is between it and the Sugar Drop. I'd love to try the Sugar Drop but I think it'd be too big to use comfortably.
