Icicles 8 v. Icicles 2. Which is better for a beginner and why?

Contributor: November November 03/15/2012

Okay, as you already know, glass toys are 25% off right now. The sale ends in less than a day and I can't decide between Icicles #8 or #2. I've tried comparing them, reading reviews, searching for posts and I still can't decide. I'm a beginner to glass toys and was wondering which one you think would be better. If you have both of them, please post and explain your vote. Thanks, everyone, I really appreciate any feedback you can give me! :)

Icicle no 8 is much more petite than icicle no 2. I have both so if you have any question, specifics on them, please feel free to ask.

I like the wavy texture of #8 - but don't care for the beaded designs like #2.

Number 8 just looks like it would be a better texture for a beginner. The other is pretty extreme bumps. Number 8 looks fun and sexy smooth a nice intro to glass

Thanks for posting, everyone. I took your advice and ordered No. 8! Anyone else who has both the No. 8 and No. 2 and has something to add, please do. I appreciate your help and I would love to read more posts!

I don't have any of those, but the 8 looks beginner friendly with a smaller size. It's good that you were able to get the 8.

Icicles No. 8! It's by far my favorite glass toy out of all the ones I have.

I agree it might be best to start with a smaller glass toy and work your way up!
