Would you prefer to spend a lot of money on one really great toy that works every time, or the same amount of money on a collection of cheaper toys?

I'd rather spend my money on a high-end toy that will bring me lots of fun; why waste your money on a bunch of cheap and useless toys that will end up as "junk" collection.

It depends. I'll spend a lot of money on a toy if I'm almost certain it'll work for me.

I love getting the one that works every time--with that said, I also have found many cheaper items that work great as well--depends on what I want at the time.

If I'm not sure the expensive one will work for me I'll try something somewhat cheap that get's good reviews first. Like I'll try a regular cheap buttplug, a cheap vibrating one, and maybe some anal beads before buying an expensive anal toy. But if I know the toy will work for me? Then I'll get it. But I do still tend to buy more smaller items. There are enough that look fun to me!

Buy good toys and amass a collection of quality over time. Buying toys isn't a one-time event. New ones are always coming out - and your tastes and interests change.
But what ever you do, don't fall for the false economy of cheap. That doesn't mean that some inexpensive toys are not very good - the Icicles glass lie for example is affordable and high quality.

I went for cheap ones at first, then I tried my first "luxury" toy and I pretty much have all the ones that I wanted after months and months of saving and waiting. I've actually cleaned out my stash and got rid of quite a few things that were low quality and/or weak.

Variety is the spice of life, but I won't buy toys made of crappy materials (which the cheap dildos often are), so neither applies to me. Quality AND quantity.

I like variety, but cheap toys just aren't worth it in my opinion. I usually go for the higher quality ones.

My Eroscillator, with the additional Fingertip attachment, cost $180 plus tax. I didn't pay for it myself, because I was reviewing it, but still - I would gladly pay that much for a toy as good as the Eroscillator is. I'd much rather have one mindblowing, lifechanging toy over a bunch of so-so toys.

I've gotten a lot of cheap toys and a few pricier ones, and I ALWAYS go for the pricer ones. The cheap ones just end up sitting in a drawer forever, or being given to friends if they're steralizable.

I prefer something that is high quality and will work for me every time. I am sure some of the companies I review for HATE me cause 98% of the time if I am allowed to choose whatever I want it is NEVER under $50.

I for one like trying new things. And just because it works for someone else doesn't mean it will for me. Now, I'd rather have one $50 toy than 5 $10 ones, but I also won't really prefer to spend more than that on one toy alone.
