These two have so many similarities that from what i can see, the only difference is the look and 1/2 an inch.

I started a similar thread back when I was trying to decide between the two. I was specifically looking for someone with both toys to take a side by side picture, but got no response. I ended up going with Buck, and Maverick is a very popular toy that I've seen several times in person and in porn. I'd still like to see them side by side, but this is what I've surmised:

The obvious difference is length. Maverick has a bit more insertable length. Length can be a plus if you are using it in a harness, but it can also be a minus if you want the freedom to thrust in completely and not painfully bump the cervix.

The bigger and more importand difference is tapering. Buck is tapered. It has a soft ridged head with a diameter of 1 and 3/4" at the widest point, but then tapers right after to give you a nice resting point before stretching out to 2" closer to the base. Maverick is 2" all the way down with no taper. It also has a serious ridge that seems to give some folks problems, both with getting past it during initial insertion and irritating the pubic bone during thrusting.

If you are (or love) a serious size queen, then Maverick is probably your pick. If you want something thick but more comfortable, or you are trying to work your way up to a larger size, go with Buck.

Very helpful thank you. I used the sizing feature on EF and it seemed to show that Buck is 1.75" - not 2". This is what I was looking for - something easy starting out then tapering larger.

I would think that head on Maverick would catch really easily... so I'd go for Buck of the two, even though it still has a pronounced head as well.

Buck is 1.75" at the head, but does widen out to a full 2" further down on the shaft.

The head on Maverick is the iffy part - it does catch on things, no matter what hole you stuff it in. If you're OK with that or have a body that doesn't catch than it's great, if not you need to go slow.

when in doubt I go with length. If it is too short for you, you are out of luck. If it is too long, just don't insert it all the way..

I used to think that too... but for strap-on sex it gets really frustrating having to punctuate your thrusts when you really just want to slam your hips into your partner
