To Sell or Not To Sell?

Contributor: Lilith Bealove Lilith Bealove
Back in January I got the Icicles No. 21 and I don't like it... at all. I mean it's pretty, but it's too big for me... So I was thinking about selling it on the Eden classifieds since it's non-porous and can be sanitized (boiled, bleached, dishwashed, etc.). But I don't know. I'm kinda eh about selling a sex toy since I've used it, but only twice AND it is non-porous. Idk. Would you sell it?

While I haven't personally sold a toy on here if it's something that just doesn't work for you I think selling it is a good option. Since it can be sanitized it's perfectly safe, and I bet someone else would appreciate it.

I dont have paypal, so how many EF points would you think would be fair (keep in mind, since points dont pay shipping thatd be outta pocket for me)?

I don't see why not, because it's non-porous and fully sanitized.

You can always just take offers and haggle from there.

Sure. No harm in trying to sell that.

If you don't like it, and you're able to fully disinfect it... why not sell it? No point in keeping it cluttering up your space.

Sure I would try to sell it, but I would NEVER buy a used toy.

Again, what I was thinking. But seems like a lot of ppl would be interested in it anyway since it is non-porous. Idk... I mean it's really tempting cause I will never use it and seems like some ppl would be interested, but it does seem gross.

I completely disagree. A sanitized glass or metal toy is indistinguishable from a brand new one. I have traded many toys and have been 100% satisfied with the results.

I say sell it! Actually, I give my toys that I know longer use or that just don't work for me to my friends. Of course, only those that can be sterilized and are non-porous. I sterilize them prior to me giving them and suggest they sterilize the toys again....
No complaints, in fact some of my friends wait for my castoffs, esp. rabbit types, which rarely ever really work for me but seem to for my friends, so.....?.

I would keep it. You might like it later.

Personally I would keep it to use on others, but otherwise I would feel fine selling something made of glass since it can be thoroughly sanitized

I personally couldn't sell it because I'm sorta of a pack rat and keep all of my toys, but I think it would be completely okay to sell it.

I would sell or give it away if I was absolutely certain I'd never ever use it but if size is the only issue, maybe work up to it if you like it otherwise. Not sure I'd buy a toy from a stranger but I might take one given by a friend. And if I really hated something non porous and sanitizeable, I'd sell it.

That person would either have to purchase you a gift card or purchase you items off your wish list. Gift cards are only in $25's, so That is normally a $48, toy, however you have used it. I would put it up for about $25. And see what happens.

I just got a We-Vibe II off another member on there. She was willing to sell the toy for half price, but wanted something for shipping. I bought her a $50 gift card and a $10 gift off her wish list. I paid for the shipping on that order, so it was somewhat fair in the end. Of course she paid out of pocket for shipping, but I spent more points because I covered shipping for her. I am very grateful that she was willing to do so. Maybe you can find someone like that.

I don't think trying to sell it is a big deal because if the thought grosses someone else out, they probably aren't browsing the classifieds for used toys.
