I keep the lights on and do pay some attention. Perhaps that's why the look matters more to me? Never thought about it much. I don't like realistic looking dildos in the looks department. The colored ones or artistic ones just appeal to my senses more. My husband has a penis. If I want to see a penis, I'll ask him to pull down his pants. *shrug*

I often masturbate during the daylight hours, or have at least one light on, so I do pay attention to color. I don't typically play in the dark. I'm a lesbian and I don't like penises. I like penetration but not dick. So I don't want something that looks like it could be part of a man in my bed or inside me. Pretty colors or artful shapes are much preferred over anything that looks realistic.
