Giving gifts to others

When it comes to giving gifts to my boyfriend in my mind I'm so excited that he'll love it and everytime he's like...you got this because you love it.. When we were in high school I got him stuffed animals, baked him cookies and got him band shirts. Now that we're older what seems to be like a really hard guess at what he wants, none the less he doesn't want anything, and I hate those people lol, because I want to give and give and have them enjoy it. Anyways I go all out on gifts when really he just enjoys the simple things like new deodorant or shower gel, or something that simple but I wouldn't have guess or picked.
