I noticed how many gorgeous looking black gowns got discontinued on EF, and I wonder as hell if folks are really not that interested in them...

I LOVE gowns! They're so pretty! ... But I'm 5'1" and can't wear them if they're supposed to be ankle length on 'normal' people.

I don't really like gowns. But I think it's a nice option for EF to have them for people who do like them.

I like them but they tend to be very hit or miss on the sizing and I'd probably have to get them altered anyways.

I personally have never really cared for them. I've never thought of a gown as something to wear during "sexy time", and I would have no other reason to wear one.

On the other hand my husband LOVES them, so...

I lovvve them! I'm tall so a lot of the shorter items fit like shirts on me. I like to be a little more covered up, and I don't feel silly running downstairs for something in a gown or even just hanging out with my husband on the couch in a gown after I've just had a shower and gotten ready for bed. No worries on if the kids see, unless they're see through. I do prefer them to be more of an empire waist.
